RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  2. Add the Reservation Number to Guest Portal Receipt Emails

    Receipt emails sent out to guests (after paying on the portal) don't have any reference to the reservation number, therefore if they reply on these emails, we don't know which booking it is.

  3. Corporate Portal - Add Credit Card Token Creation with Payment Gateways

    Add the ability for Companies and Travel Agents to securely enter their credit card information in the Corporate Portal when using a payment gateway and have this create a CC Token in RMS.

  4. Advanced Criteria Options for Guest Portal Payments

    Hi as many of our guests reservations are charged back to an account we are hoping that you will implement a way we can take payment from certain guests in the guest portal check in system. At the moment we can only set it to all must place their credit card in the portal for payment. We want to be able too choose who it gets sent to for payment etc

  5. Guest Portal Payments for Group Master when Rate on Group = Yes

    Group reservations to show in guest portal for Payments

    if it is a grouped account the customer should be able to pay online. this way they would not receive a cancelation notice because the system hasn't confirmed them because it thinks they have not met the deposit requirement.

  7. Ability for Guests to Upload Multiple Forms of Photo ID on the Guest Portal

    Need ability to upload more than one photo and choose the type of Photo ID on guest portal

    Good idea to ask guests to upload a photo ID, but don't necessarily need passport. Would be good for properties to specify the type of photo ID needed, eg driver's licence, Also need the ability for guests to upload more than one photo on the Guest Portal. Currently they can only upload one photo, and the "add" a photo button in the Client page.

  8. Ability to Customise Covid Questions & Flagged Answers

    Setup to determine if yes or no is flagged in response to COVID-19 statements


    We have had a number of guests confused by the COVID-19 statements. Part of the problem is having to write negative questions to result in a positive response, as negative responses are flagged.

    It would be helpful if we can determine whether a yes or no response is flagged for each individual question.

    This would allow the questions to be re-written in a more natural way.

  12. Guest Portal - Message Centre Notification for any Reservation Action

    Guest Portal - need to have notification emails for any activity on the reservation by a guest

    Love the idea of the Guest Portal, but it absolutely needs to have notification emails for any activity on the reservation by the guest.

    It's essential that we get an email when there is a payment, change of date etc - otherwise the portal is currently useless to us and we can't use until there is communication to us of any changes, payments.

    Would love to see improvements sooner than later to enable better use of the portal

  13. Custom Labels for Fields in the Guest Portal

    We need the ability to rename the fields in Guest Portal. We need to use the "common terms" we already use in our Form Letters and all our communication to guests in the Guest Portal as well. Customizing the name to fit our needs will avoid any confusion.

    For example, instead of "Booking Confirmation Number", we'd like it to be "NISADE Reference No." because this is what's in all of our correspondences (form letter, email, etc.).

    • Display number of guests on reservation details. - Adults, Children, Infants, Other.
    • Use Total Rate including Packages and Discounts as the Reservation Total
    • Notify the Property when a guest adjusts ETA, makes a payment.
    • Pre-fill Guest Details on RMS IBE when Creating a Reservation from the Guest Portal

  15. Guest Portal to Allow Guests to Enter Credit Card Details Securely

    When using a Payment Gateway, add the ability for guests to securely enter their Credit Card details in the Guest Portal that creates a CC Token in RMS.

    This would be particularly useful for reservations that originate from a Travel Agent where credit card details are not included as part of the booking process.
