RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Make the Reason for Travel on the Guest Declaration as an Option to Include

    Remove the travel type questions in the covid declaration

    In the COVID pre-check-in declaration there is a page that asks the guest what type of travel (leisure/business/other etc), please make this optional.
    All of my guests are leisure travellers, so I do not need to ask this question, but I am told by support that they are hard-coded and cannot be removed. This adds unnecessary process to check-in and is detrimental to the guests experience. Please enable them to be removed or at least modified.

  2. Scheduled Reports by End of Day Process

    Allow users to choose scheduled reports based on the end of day process being performed rather than only at a specified time. This wouild allow Accountants to have more accurate information.

  3. I would like the cc: email to auto generate a company email on Service Requests so that a copy goes to a shared inbox.

    This way our company can keep track on the requests being sent from different users to pinpoint areas of training that can be conducted.

  4. I would like to be able to edit the email from a form letter being sent to a guest in the portal.

    The current email is very basic and generic - looks like spam.
    It includes the client's first and last name (maybe should only have first name)?
    It does not include the park's contact details, eg ph number, or a logo.

  6. Add Date Selection or Day of Week Scroll to Dashboards

    I would like to change the date on my dashboard

    I would like to change the date of my dashboards so I can look at each day into the week or weekend, so I can understand my occupancy, checkins, checkouts, and revenue numbers at a glance. it could help with staffing decisions, rate adjustments, and marketing efforts.

  7. Auto Allocate or Suggest Least Used Area on Reservations

    Fair Distribution

    Keep a financial year and monthly tally of revenue per room number and automatically suggest the room number which has the least amount to the room number that has the most amount of revenue when allocating room numbers to reservations.

  8. Ability to mark Guest Portal Messages as 'Actioned'

    Have a done/ tick box for the guest portal messages .

    When multiple users are responding to messages via the guest portal a tick to show it has been done or is being dealt with would be good - similar to outlook, which we use the done tick when responding to emails, to save an unprofessional double up .
    At the moment the only way we can stop this is to archive the message , which is not a terrific option as it would be good to see the messages dealt with and find them quickly.

  9. To be able to move the new Gateway Provider payment screen

    When you add a new credit card for a guest, you add a description and then the new gateway provider screen where you enter the credit card details pop up. I would like to be able to move this box around the screen as it currently blocks the guest name. So you either have to memorise the name or write it down or ask the guest again (which isn't very good customer service) and it just takes longer then to process.

  11. Remove Auto tick option for Primary email correspondence in RMS

    RMS auto tick the Primary email always when preparing a form letter in correspondence
    However this leads to erroneous emails going out to the guest as they are auto ticked.
    Requires the res agent to be mindful and remove the tick prior to issuing correspondence

  13. Group Pencil Reservations

    Pencil "Group Reservation" instead of just individual rooms

    It would be great if there was the option to pencil a group reservation instead having to do each room individually. A pop-up window like the one used to select rooms for "out of order". We use the "Pencil Reservation" feature quite a lot, but it is tedious having to do multiple room group bookings, especially when we are talking 20 to 30 rooms.

  14. Occupancy Report Option to 'Exclude Complimentary Nights' Same as Night Audit

    I would like an improvement in occupancy report to see only the revenu room nights and occ%

    If the occupancy report does have a similer Analysis option like the night audit report to "exclude complimentary nights from room nights sold". This will allow us to establish revenue room nights and revenue occupancy percentages accurately at any given time. It will help us with forecasting and strategical approach for improving possible revenue generations.

  15. Option to Pause a Scheduled Report

    ability to pause scheduled reports for a period of time. For example I am going on 2 weeks leave and would to like pause the reports coming. Unfortunately the only way at the moment is to remove my username from the select users field.

  16. I would like to be able to allocate sites according to van length. IE enter van length and only suitable sites are offered to book.

    It is already a function of online bookings. Accepted van lengths are already set up for each site.

  18. Corporate Portal - Display Rate Tags Correctly

    The quick quote section does not clearly indicate to the booker that the rate is displayed is per room per night and the total rate mentioned is the grand total of the stay,

    This is especially confusing when booking multiple rooms

    Therefore we require the "per night rate" tag to be placed instead of "Total Rate"

    And "Total Cost of stay" instead of "Total Rate" again

  20. Add Balance Due and Spouse/Partner columns to the Reservation Search and Guest Search

    It would be very helpful to have the Balance Due column available. It is the one screen we use most looking up reservations and would enable us to keep on top of accounts with balances.

    Having the Spouse/Partner column would allow us to more seamlessly identify the Reservation or the Guest when the person on the phone or in front of us isn't necessarily the "Given" name.
