RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Online Payments Using Existing Account Credit

    To have guests that have account credits to be able to use them for online bookings

    I would like guests to have access to pay for future bookings with credits held in client account via IBE or Guest Portal. I have many guests with credit now (as a result of COVID lockdowns) that I have to keep track of and book manually to be able to use the credit. I would like the guests to manager this themselves by being able to access their accounts and credits when booking online.

  2. Setup SMS Templates Per Property (Same as Form Letters)

    We are an enterprise database and want our users only to see their own correspondence. Currently when a new SMS is created it attaches to all security profiles and there is no option to opt in or out of that. (which you can do with form letters/correspondence)

  3. Automated Direct Debit or Credit Card Payment

    I would like guests to be able to elect autopayment for recurring charges

    I would like the ability for our long term guests to opt in to autopayment of their monthly charges, where they could select the date that they would like their credit card payment taken and the amount that they would like charged. This would be very convenient for guests and staff.

  4. Add Audit Trails to all Setup

    We would like and audit trail developed for the SetUp section of RMS so we can see which user has changed fields

    Some changes were made in the set up section of RMS and there is no way to see who had made the change. This audit feature would be helpful for users to educate staff on how the system works and how we can communicate the effects of changing fields across the enterprise system....

  5. Ability to mark Guest Portal Messages as 'Actioned'

    Have a done/ tick box for the guest portal messages .

    When multiple users are responding to messages via the guest portal a tick to show it has been done or is being dealt with would be good - similar to outlook, which we use the done tick when responding to emails, to save an unprofessional double up .
    At the moment the only way we can stop this is to archive the message , which is not a terrific option as it would be good to see the messages dealt with and find them quickly.

  7. Add ID Icon to Guest Profile if Photo ID Uploaded in the Guest Portal

    Show if photo ID has been uploaded to the guest portal on a reservation

    I need to be able to see whether a guest has uploaded photo ID on a reservation, it is to many steps to click through client area and edit, how do i know if it has been uploaded without continually clicking in all the reservations and clicking on client etc.

  8. Corporate Portal - Add Credit Card Token Creation with Payment Gateways

    Add the ability for Companies and Travel Agents to securely enter their credit card information in the Corporate Portal when using a payment gateway and have this create a CC Token in RMS.

  9. RMS IBE to Display Availability Calendar on Mobile

    It would be great if guests could view the online availability calendar on mobile devices.

    When a guest wants to book certain dates on a computer they can search for dates and if they are not available click on the online calendar to search for other dates that might be available. However when attempting to book on a mobile device the online availability calendar is not an option. I think this would be frustrating for guests having to go in and out trying different dates to find availability. Being able to view the online availability calendar would make the guest…

  12. IBE - Ability to set Allowed Arrival Dates & Days on Date Picker & Availability Calendar

    We have properties that close for certain periods of the year and have set arrival dates. Would like to be able set the Arrival Date so it opens on a set date and highlights on the calendar the possible arrival dates.
    E.g. property opens from May to October only and has set arrival dates of Thursdays and Sundays only. We need to be able show these dates / days on the calendar and availability chart.

  13. Ability for Guests to Upload Multiple Forms of Photo ID on the Guest Portal

    Need ability to upload more than one photo and choose the type of Photo ID on guest portal

    Good idea to ask guests to upload a photo ID, but don't necessarily need passport. Would be good for properties to specify the type of photo ID needed, eg driver's licence, Also need the ability for guests to upload more than one photo on the Guest Portal. Currently they can only upload one photo, and the "add" a photo button in the Client page.

  16. Automated Quote Reservation Process

    This idea is basically an extension on the triggered correspondence functionality.

    A customisable workflow solution would have triggers, decision points, actions and diary events.

    For example, a quote followup workflow would be ;

    • trigger quote status 7 days prior to arrival date.
    • automatic workflow decisions based of field values, such as quotes for a specific agent might be ignored.
    • automate a correspondence
    • set a followup date.
    • etc

    Such workflow builders are common in CRM systems. I can provide more details if required.

  17. Individual release back times for each online channel

    Have the ability to set specific release back times for individual online channels.

    Ie. Booking.com releases back at 2pm but RMS Book Now releases back at 10pm.

    Also be able to adjust close out times for specific days of the week.
    ie. on Friday and Saturday all channels close out at 2pm and Sunday -Thursday they close out at 8pm.

  18. Move Location of "Book Via Interactive Map" button

    When using the mobile version of the RMS IBE website, you do not see the "Book via Interactive Map" button unless you tap on the "Tap to modify reservation" option at the top. Customers have a hard time finding this unless we instruct them or they stumble across it on accident. Customers love to pick their site and this would make it a lot easier for them if the button was more visible when the results first loaded.

  19. Apply Pre-Auth to Existing CC Tokens

    CC Pre-Auth Token should be able to read any tokens already saved as a CC Token.

    It shouldn't be necessary to re-obtain from the guest and re-enter credit card details that have already been provided and saved.

    Would also like to see consideration for the CC Pre-Auth Token to be available 3 days prior to arrival for those organisations using RMS that do not meet guests to provide access, but instead provide keysafe/lockbox details before arrival.
