RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Display Property Terms & Conditions Before RMS Terms on the IBE

    I do not see why you think the RMS T & C is more important than

    Idea. Allow the subscribers of your booking engine to have some things individualised.

  2. New User Interface Feedback

    • The new layout for (10.20.139.4)Beta does not look great - the old layout looked better. The side menu feels much larger now.
    • The old layout looked better.
    • Have EOD date visible like previous versions of RMS instead of having to click on the user profile tab - very confusing and easy to forget

    Thank you for your feedback on the recent changes to the user interface in RMS 9+.

    We are pleased to advise that the most recent Beta release (Version 10.20.153.2) includes both the Accounting Date and Username in the info panel at the bottom of the side menu.

    The Accounting Date will be displayed there for single property databases only.

    For any further feedback in relation to the new user interface feel free to email uifeedback@rmscloud.com. Alternatively all suggestions added to the User Suggestion Box will be monitored for feedback with the highest voted items put forward to be considered for inclusion in a future development cycle.

  3. Ability to Disable Email Confirmations on RMS Online

    Would like to have the ability to turn off the the automatic confirmation emails which get sent to guests who book online. Instead we would like to use triggered correspondence.

  6. Add Message Centre to Mobile/Tablet View - 2 Way Guest Messaging

    I understand that 2 way messaging has just been released however being able to do this on a phone would be highly beneficial and not on the desktop view. We are not always in the office and need a quick and easy way to respond to guests.

  7. Fix calculation of deposits or Enable manual override of deposits

    RMS currently does not calculate the deposits correctly(first and second). This occurs when rates change. during the negotiations with the customer. Furthermore RMS does not allow manual override of second deposit when it is wrong.

  8. Being able to do a PrintScreen on some of the screens as we input info

    I find it a long process doing my rates every year and if I could do a PrintScreen of some of the info from the previous year it would sure help in getting the new year done correctly. There are also other times I wish I could do a PrintScreen, especially in training a new person. Showing them what "it" looks like would help.

  9. Housekeeper report

    Remove page break at end of report it causes an extra page with no value to us. If there is a reason for it make it an optional selection.
    Yes i can go through the option daily of printing selected pages omitting last page DAILY. i would rather RMS work for me than me for it

    Please note that this has now been implemented and available in version 9.1.843.0.

    This version is currently available in our Beta environment for RMS9.

    If you wish to use our Beta environment to access the fix now please log a Service Request so that Support can authorize your access to this environment.

  10. Re-configure Void Report

    Like most hotel managers or FOMs, I look at the Void report daily to check if everything was legit. Currently, a large number of transactions, which are not true Voids, show up on this report. For example, if charges are transferred from one account to another, although the user clicks on the transfer buttons, RMS shows it as a Voided charge on the Void report. If there is a Group where charges were supposed to go to the group master, but didn't until departure for example, RMS transfers all relevant charges to the group master on request.   11. Message Centre Notification on Add Requirement from Guest Portal

    An alert to come up when someone adds a requirement through the guest portal.

    its great that with the new feature i can now display optional extras for guests in the portal. However some optional extras require arrangements to be made ahead of time like booking a tour or some hire equipment.
    Could we get an alert in the message centre when someone adds an optional extra in the guest portal so it can be actioned immediately?

  12. Add State & Country to Booking Chart Data Window

    Thank you for the recent changes to the Data Window options. We though love to see State & Country shown there to. In these COVID times it would make managing bookings and expected cancellations if we could see these fields easily in the booking without having to open them. Nor does it show on any Arrival Reports.

    This version is currently in our Release Candidate (RC) Environment and will be included in the next RMS 9+ Live Release.

  14. Add Guest Nights to the Flash Report

    Add Bed Nights Calculation to the Flash Report

    Currently the MTD & FYTD Pax count values only show the pax count per booking. E.g. 2 pax stay 3 nights, this is counted as 2 pax, a bed nights calculation would show this as 6 pax.
    Can this be amended or another calculation added to show bed nights

  15. Quick Quote - Ability to Type in Category or Rate Type Drop Down Menus

    HI Team,

    Can you please reinstate the ability to type in the Rate Type Field at the top of the quick quote screen.

    This functionality has been lost since the last update, it would save a lot of time scrolling through the list of rates if you can jump to the required rate type by starting to type it.

    This functionality already exists when in a reservation.

  16. Add Booking Source Filter to the Arrivals List Report

    i would like a booking source filter added to the arrival list so i can specifically look at just one booking source

    if you were able to filter out booking sources on an arrival list it would be handy cause you could then for example just bring up booking.com or direct bookings and check all the booking as up to date faster. By filtering you can look at just channels that pay direct instead of having to search through lists and lists of bookings.

  17. Weekend days to be dark grey again so that it is easy to see the weekly rhythm on the bookings screen

    Saturdays and Sundays used to be dark and it was helpful. It was removed in the recent upgrade unnecessarily :(

    Saturday & Sunday have been restored to a darker shade on the Booking Chart in all versions of RMS. The first day of the month is also shaded an even darker colour to highlight the rollover of a new month when viewing the Booking Chart.

  18. Reservation Requirements- Bring back Save/Next

    Could previously add multiple requirements on a reservation without having to save, exit and then click back into "Add Requirement".
    Res > Add Requirement > Save/Next Button is no longer showing

    Now have to Save requirement, exit and then go back to "add requirement". Makes it more time consuming when adding more than 1 requirement to a reservation.

  19. Show Rate Period Colour for Weekends on the Rate Manager Chart

    Weekends display white instead of the Rate Period colour on the Rate Manager Chart.


    In the Tariff Manager Chart we would like the Tariff Period colours to include weekends. Currently the weekends do not display in the Tariff Period colour - Saturday & Sunday display in white, while Monday through Friday display in the colour of the Tariff Period. If a Tariff Period begins or ends on a Saturday or Sunday it can be quite hard to distinguish when it begins/ends as those days display in white and not in the colour of the Tariff Period.
