RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. RMS IBE to Display Availability Calendar on Mobile

    It would be great if guests could view the online availability calendar on mobile devices.

    When a guest wants to book certain dates on a computer they can search for dates and if they are not available click on the online calendar to search for other dates that might be available. However when attempting to book on a mobile device the online availability calendar is not an option.   3. Online Payments Using Existing Account Credit

    To have guests that have account credits to be able to use them for online bookings

    I would like guests to have access to pay for future bookings with credits held in client account via IBE or Guest Portal. I have many guests with credit now (as a result of COVID lockdowns) that I have to keep track of and book manually to be able to use the credit. I would like the guests to manager this themselves by being able to access their accounts and credits when booking online.

  5. Present professional looking quotations

    Would love to spit out pretty looking quotes like how the IBE screens look, so you can attach via PDF or copy and paste into an email. With some pictures and room information, and pretty clear dates for a quote. Even a Quote Number if they want to book.

  6. Improve the mobile booking experience for guests

    The mobile guest facing booking engine is not great. When you land on that page on mobile, instead of showing the information about your accommodation, it says "About Us".

    Then the booking system should automatically offer the availability calendar and give instructions on booking as it's not simple to use.

    Then when you get to "Add on Extras", it doesn't show any information/description about the Extras. This is where we have a chance to upsell and this should be an absolute.

  7. User Defined Order of Allocated Areas for RMS Online

    To have a site list just for Online so you can change the order in which sites get booked rather than the numerical default of the system list which is normally numerical (same as booking chart). This would allow you to better serve customer by booking best sites first similar if they had rung

  8. Allow rooms to be sold as 'double/twin' with guests needing to confirm their bedding choice

    I would like to be able to sell a room which is configurable as a double or twin, and force the guest to choose their bedding configuration as part of the booking process.

  9. Ability to Customise RMS Internet Booking Engine Confirmation Page Text

    Make the Online Booking Engine confirmation header text customizable.

    Currently this area pulls the Guest Name, Arrival Date and Online Confirmation No fields, but puts them into text that does not align with our reservation and deposit policies. Now it says:

    Thanks <Given> <Surname>,
    We look forward to welcoming you at <Property Name>, on
    <Arr Date>. Your Booking Confirmation ID is <Online Conf No>
    Thank you for booking with us.

    We would like to be able to change the default text to terms & phrases that we use...

    For instance "your booking confirmation ID" becomes "your booking reference number", etc.

    We run ads on social media for 'book now' campaigns and would like to be able to embed our Facebook pixel in the IBE so we can track who clicks through, for remarketing purposes.

    RMS online booking engine needs a refresh - urgently.
    the shopping basket needs to be in view at all times, the process should be much more intuitive. has not changed in 2 years - time to get an update RMS please.

  13. Move Location of "Book Via Interactive Map" button

    When using the mobile version of the RMS IBE website, you do not see the "Book via Interactive Map" button unless you tap on the "Tap to modify reservation" option at the top. Customers have a hard time finding this unless we instruct them or they stumble across it on accident. Customers love to pick their site and this would make it a lot easier for them if the button was more visible when the results first loaded.

  14. Have icons for bedrooms and bathrooms on rooms/properties online

    Our business type is holiday homes and apartments. We would love to add to the Sleep icon (number of people) other icons for bedrooms, bathrooms etc to show up on the booking page for individual areas/properties.

  15. RMS IBE offers the choice to display net rates instead of gross rates prior to adding them to the cart.

    I wanted to bring to your attention a critical update that we believe would greatly enhance the user experience on the RMS IBE platform and improve our competitiveness in the market.

    Currently, our system displays rates at the gross amount without explicitly indicating whether taxes are included. This lack of transparency becomes apparent only after customers proceed to add reservations to their carts. In contrast, many OTA platforms prominently display net rates and specify that taxes are excluded.

  16. Mandatory Fields, need to be mandatory on online reservations.

    Each company has mandatory fields that have to be completed when making a reservation. What I do not understand is when guests make an online reservations, Those fields are not mandatory to them. Example: They do not have to fill in kids, vehicles, or pets. It is very frustrating to get called in the middle of the night because they have a 2nd vehicle coming in and only 1 pass was given.

  18. Select Multiple Categories on the Internet Booking Engine Search

    I would like RMS Book now button to be able to book more than one category in the first search..

    Currently, if there is only 1 room type in the category that holds two people, and the number of people staying is 4 ADTs, the user has to add to cart and then do another search.

  19. Set Rate on Group on the RMS Internet Booking Engine

    IBE Group Reservation correspondence has never worked properly

    Since the IBE payment always goes on the Group Master but the charges remain on the sibling reservations, there are no options for Group Reservations to ever receive an accurate triggered correspondence that properly shows "balance owing" or "payment made." Sibling reservations will always show a zero payment made with a full balance, and group master will always show a negative balance owing due to a payment but no charges.
