RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

    To have the rego number from the guest details automatically populate into the rego/ access tab and generate a gate code to the reservation and calculate the amount of days stayed.

  2. Housekeeping Clean Screen - Change Colour of 'Inspect' Status to be Different to 'Dirty'

    Make colours different for 'dirty' and 'ready to inspect' it makes it easier for all to get a status at a glance. They are currently both red!

  4. Owner Portal - Change colour of Owner bookings

    We would like to be able to change the colour of the bookings owners make themselves. The current gold colour is very similar to guests bookings orange colour, so it creates confusion.

    It would be helpful to have the ability to add a ‘search’ facility.

  6. Custom Labels for Fields in the Guest Portal

    We need the ability to rename the fields in Guest Portal. We need to use the "common terms" we already use in our Form Letters and all our communication to guests in the Guest Portal as well. Customizing the name to fit our needs will avoid any confusion.

    For example, instead of "Booking Confirmation Number", we'd like it to be "NISADE Reference No." because this is what's in all of our correspondences (form letter, email, etc.).

  9. Add the option to "Hide Rate on Correspondence" on Online Travel Agents

    This option is available for regular Travel Agents but not for OTA's such as Expedia that use nett rates, therefore, we wouldn't want these rates displaying on the Digital Registration.

  10. Add Option to Owner Portal Setup to Not Show Current Month's Statement

    Could you please create an option with in the owner portal set up where you can turn off viewing the current months statement. As the current month has not been finalised as yet I feel this makes sense. General transfer are mostly not applied until the end of the month as are last minute expenses, and departure cleans. There may be a booking that had to be cancelled, where the owner had viewed and seen it before the months end, this can make things messy and confusing. Thanks for your consideration.

  11. Ability to Group & Bundle Scheduled Reports

    We need to schedule multiple reports for our Emergency reporting 4 times a day and you have to have them sent on individual emails. It would be be easier if these could be in a night audit group and you only received one email with all the reports 4 times a day.

  12. Create Rate - Option to Create Nightly Rate for Multiple Reservation Dates

    Create Rate for multiple nights at once

    For the Create Rate functionality that allows a user to post a night's accommodation in advance:
    Currently we can only post one night at a time so this is time consuming if we’re trying to post the rate forward for say 30 nights. Could this be enhanced so that there's an option to post multiple dates with one posting rather than being only able to post one night at a time?

  14. Select Arrive & Depart Dates Separately on the RMS IBE

    Allow Departure Field To Be Used and Properly Functioning

    It would be ideal if a user can select the Arrival box, choose a date, then select the Departure field, and select a departure date keeping both dates as selected. You can’t assume a user is going to select both the arrival & departure dates in the same field. This is not obvious and many arrival/departure systems require the user to select both fields.

  16. Move the Credit Hold Y/N button & not allow "No" without credit amount in the AR tab

    Move the Credit Hold Y/N button from the Company Details tab of the Company Profile to the Accounts Receivable tab (or another separate tab) that can be locked using Security Profiles.
    Anyone that creates or edits company profile information can tick this (without having accounts/finance departments follow credit check procedures), allowing guests to be invoiced after checkout without going through a credit check approval process therefore leaving the business with a high level of risk of non-approved clients having unpaid bills.
    The Credit Hold Y/N button should not be able to be enabled (switched to "NO") without a Credit Limit…

  17. Rate Update

    Rate Update - We have rates with overrides drop in on a regular basis. as we are using packages it is not a case of simply updating the base rate. In addition to this we have packages that are based on percentages, so updating the tariff on a nightly rate is laborious and takes multiple attempts to balance out. I would like to have the ability to enter the total rate amount (inclusive of packages) in the "total rate" section and have the nightly accom divided up evenly over the nights.

  19. Automatically input CCV code in vault

    Currently a code is sent to the property’s email to retrieve the CCV code. This is an incredibly time consuming process that takes a lot of admin time when bookings trickle in regularly. Can you automatically input in the vault like other PMS systems? I never had to do this with my other system.
