Customisable Field Maintenance for Guest Details on RMS IBE
The ability to change fields on the rms online booking screens. For example, we do not need to know time of arrival but would love to know the customers caravan club membership number. The ability to swap these field would be very useful to gain the information we need rather than the information that RMS thinks we need!
25 votesCurrently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to configure Feild Maintenance for RMS Online, including which fields are mandatory for completion prior to making an online booking.

Need smarter 'Terms and Agreement' button for RMS online reservation - credit cards
Merchant Services says 'Terms and Conditions' for the conditions tick box is not sufficient to prove 'informed consent' of the cancellation policy which leads to 'chargebacks' for 'no shows'. Tick box needs to say " I have read the terms and condition and the cancellation policy and I understand that I may lose me deposit if the cancellation policy is not followed." This is or similar language is informed consent specific to the credit card charge and will protect me from chargebacks.

When changing default housekeeping day, if other changes made to booking ie arrival time, HK reverts back to default, not good!
We often need to change the default housekeeping day for guests. We are finding, once this has been set, if we then make other changes made to booking ie arrival time or date, HK reverts back to default. This is not good as we then lose the requested day, have to remember to go back in and re-set. This has caused many mistakes for our housekeepers. I don't get why, changing one field in a guest booking should later anything else. please fix!

The ability to email Meter Statements to Annuals
Have the ability to email Meter Statements from the Meter Reading screen to annuals after a read is performed.

We are pleased to advise that the ability to bulk email Utility Statements is now available in RMS 9+ Version 1.19.13.0 or later. This version is currently in our Beta environment and will be included in the next RC and Live releases.

remove the "space sensitive"component from cust. search so that searching phone no's and car regos is easier. add smart search in this area
Remove the 'space sensitive' component from the customer search area so that looking for a customer via phone number or car rego doesn't rely on how someone else entered it. Smart search could be added to the customer search area, not just in the booking page.

This feature would allow you to use the RMS Vault to store credit card information from online reservations instead of taking a deposit.
The RMS Vault would be accessible outside of the RMS system to ensure that you remain within PCI Compliance.4 votes -
Navigate Back to Property Viewed on RMS IBE
Navigating backwards during the online booking process currently returns the user to view All Properties. We would like this to remember the specific Property the user had previously selected.
Example:
From the Bunya Mountains website, select Accommodation Search and select a Lodge (for example Ecos Studio) > Select date and adults > Book Now (this will then redirect to the Book Now Button) > then you decide you've booked at the wrong dates > change your date range > Refresh > instead of redirecting back to that property you were just looking at it goes back to Bunya Accommodation Centre…3 votes -
Option to Show or Hide Decimals on the Rate Manager Chart
An option to show or hide the decimal points of the tariff. For properties that do not use decimal points all the .00 makes the screen very busy and hard to read.
As this screen is replacing Tariff/ATO Mgmt screen I will have no option to but to try and find my prices thru all the .00 on the screen. IT makes price management very hard.

Reservations Created via Interactive Map Set as 'Fixed = Yes'
When guests book online and choose a site/area/room via the map the field under Reservation Options of Fixed should be toggled to Yes. This will eliminate moving of guests if they selected a specific site/area/room and wouldn't want to be moved and automatically show who chose their spots on the booking chart.

Sort By Options on the Transfers Report
RMS9+ Sorting Transfer List Report.
Currently the report does not sort by any logical criteria.
Suggest adding a Sort By to the report search criteria page.
Or at least the report should sort by time and date of the transfer1 vote -
to reduce the amount of clicks it takes to print statements/invoices
It takes 6 clicks to print an invoice/statement and a further 3 clicks to exit out of the screens. This is very time consuming and unnecessary.

Fully paid accounts to be highlighted in a new different colour for easy and fast referencing when checking accounts rather than having to open each account or run a report

Allow PDF export of NPS Client Survey Report
The NPS Guest Survey Report is currently not able to be exported to PDF. As we manage four different parks, we want to be able to generate a monthly report of survey responses to discuss issues raised with our park managers either by email or in person with a printed report. Most other reports in RMS are able to be exported to a range of different file types so this should be available. While I understand it is an interactive report where you can click through to the reservation details, it would be great to have the option to export…

We are pleased to advise that the ability to export and schedule the NPS Report is now available in Reports version 1.18.285.0. This version is currently in the RMS 9+ RC environment and will be available in Live with the next Reports release.

the tariff chart - to stay in the one spot when amending rates - its so frustrating that it returns to the top - each room that you change
Its so frustrating and time consuming when changing rates, that as you change a room type tariff, and save it, the whole chart returns to the top, so you have to scroll down to find where you are up to, to keep amending rates for each room type. a lot of time wasted in scrolling the chart up and down, when it should stay in the spot you are at

A "do not move" function.
Say you have a regular who always wants the same room or several rooms that may be traveling together that want to be next to each other. When the reservation is made you check the "do not move" box and this alerts the front desk staff that these rooms need to stay put. It is also a good idea to make a note explaining why they should not be moved.
8 votesRMS has this feature, the field on the reservation details is named Fixed. This is a Yes/No field.
If you choose YES the reservation will not be able to be moved.
When viewing the reservation on the chart it will show a small circle which is to indicate that it is a do not move reservation.

Be able to Edit No Availabilty message in RMS Online
Message currently says "There is no availability for the date range you have selected. Please try alternative dates or contact the property" - would be good to be able to edit this and put in contact information for property

Why can't we email a rooming list straight from rooming list
Why can't we email a rooming list straight from rooming list. it is so time consuming building a rooming list, then saving it to the desktop and then emailing it from the email program and attaching the file. this is so stone ages.

Room Availability Report
Can this report please be enhanced to include a tick box or something so that we can exclude certain housekeeping statuses such as dirty rooms? This report is extremely helpful for after hours when night duty may sell rooms to late walkins.
3 votesWe are pleased to advise that the Area Availability Report has been updated to include an option to only show Clean Areas and is now available in RMS 9+ with Reports Version 1.20.135.0 and above.
This version is currently in our Beta Environment and will be included in a future RMS 9+ Live Release.

Making "Split" non-compulsory
"Split" may be good for some but as a compulsory feature it fails dismally just by a guest parking in the wrong site. Already using work round of checking guests out early then remaking the booking. Some guests are now having a list of split sites 5 or 6 long.
