Attach Tax Invoices to Emailed Owner Statements
Adding invoices to Owner statements
Would be great to be able to add a PDF copy of invoices to Owner statements so they are emailed out each month rather than having to manually email them to all owners.

New User Interface Feedback
- The new layout for (10.20.139.4)Beta does not look great - the old layout looked better. The side menu feels much larger now.
- The old layout looked better.
- Have EOD date visible like previous versions of RMS instead of having to click on the user profile tab - very confusing and easy to forget

We are pleased to advise that the most recent Beta release (Version 10.20.153.2) includes both the Accounting Date and Username in the info panel at the bottom of the side menu.
The Accounting Date will be displayed there for single property databases only.

Show Rate Period Colour for Weekends on the Rate Manager Chart
Weekends display white instead of the Rate Period colour on the Rate Manager Chart.
In the Tariff Manager Chart we would like the Tariff Period colours to include weekends. Currently the weekends do not display in the Tariff Period colour - Saturday & Sunday display in white, while Monday through Friday display in the colour of the Tariff Period. If a Tariff Period begins or ends on a Saturday or Sunday it can be quite hard to distinguish when it begins/ends as those days display in white and not in the colour of the Tariff Period.

Guest Portal - Message Centre Notification for any Reservation Action
Guest Portal - need to have notification emails for any activity on the reservation by a guest
Love the idea of the Guest Portal, but it absolutely needs to have notification emails for any activity on the reservation by the guest.
It's essential that we get an email when there is a payment, change of date etc - otherwise the portal is currently useless to us and we can't use until there is communication to us of any changes, payments.
Would love to see improvements sooner than later to enable better use of the portal

Property Occupancy Shown on Booking Chart
Ability to add the property occupancy to the top of the booking chart just like we can do on the rate chart.

We are pleased to advise that the ability to display the Property Occupancy on the Booking Chart has now been added and is available in RMS Version 10.20.246.4 or later. This version is currently available in our Beta environment and will become publicly available with the next released update to RMS Live.

Opt Out Option for Covid-19 in Guest Portal
The recent upgrades to the Pre - Check in feature in the guest portal are fantastic however I am disappointed the Covid -19 declarations are hard coded into the application.
I do not want my guests to fill out 20 questions on Covid- 19 on top of the normal confirmation of dates and details. I do not wish to seek any declarations from my guests about covid 19. Please give us the option to turn the covid 19 declarations on or off.
Pre check in should be an easy slick online process that guests will be happy to use and…

Ability to Disable Email Confirmations on RMS Online
Would like to have the ability to turn off the the automatic confirmation emails which get sent to guests who book online. Instead we would like to use triggered correspondence.

Add 'Next Arrive Date' as Column Option on the Housekeepers Report
I would like an extra column in the Daily Housekeeping report that tells me when is the next check in for a particular room.
An extra column to daily housekeeping report - listing the next check in date for a departing room, would allow me to, at a glance, work out

Group Property Income Summary report by "Property Grouping"
Property Grouping is an attribute on Property Options.
Being able to group the Property Income Summary report by Property Grouping would save us a considerable amount of time. We run this report many times a month to monitor performance by brand or property group. Please add Property Grouping as an group by option for this report.

Add Remittance Details to the Pro-Forma Tax Invoice
quite often i get asked to email a customer an invoice for their stay before arrival so they can organise payment , i have been told by RMS support that currently we cant generate a pro-forma invoice with all our bank details on it.
1 voteWe are pleased to advise that property banking details will be displayed on the Proforma Tax Invoice. This update is now available in RMS 9+ with Reports Version #1.20.36 and above.
This version is currently in our Beta Environment and will be included in the next RMS 9+ Live Release.

it would be great if the inhouse Client list would print the acurate amount of inhouse clients even after midnight

We are pleased to advise that we have recently released an update to the In House Report in RMS 9+ which includes the ability to generate the report for all reservations currently in ‘Arrived’ status.
This feature is available in RMS 9+ Reports Version 1.20.39.0 or above which is currently in our Beta environment.
Generating the In House Report this way will give a true representation of all reservations that are not yet checked-out of the system even if their Departure Date & Time has passed.
The pre-existing option ‘Reservations In House On’ can continue to be used for projecting the reservations expected in house on a particular date and remains based on the Reservation Stay Dates & Times.

Reservation Search
When doing a reservation search, the first choice, and automatically selected is "group name". It would make more sense to always search by the last name. Can the list be modified so that the system is automatically searching by last name?

Available in all versions of RMS the Reservation Screen will default to the ‘Search By’ option previously selected by the user.
In addition to this update on the Reservation Screen the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search can be used to search by Guest Name, Group Name or Reservation Number without pre-selecting the Search By option.

Ability to Set 'No Room Charge Back' on Reservations for use with POS & POS Lite
Place a "POS Stop Transaction" button or check box in the RMS reservation chart for in-house guests who have finalised their Extras Account before actually checking out.
Scenario:- A guest finalises their Accommodation and Extras accounts the day before they check out of the property – eg due to very early departure the following morning. In this situation we do not want the guest to be able to have additional transactions added to their Extras account via the POS.38 votesWe are pleased to advise that a new optional feature ‘POS Charge to Area’ is now available.
This option when enabled will provide the ability to send charges back to the reservation account when using a connected POS interface or the inbuilt POS Lite as well as disable charging back and setting a monetary limit for the charges during the total stay.

Ability to Preset Frequently Used Sundry Charges
We would like to be able to choose our frequently used sundries so that they come up quicker for us.

It would be very helpful to know that the client has received emails (read receipt option) This will help in eliminating "I did not receive any emails from you"

Add Message Centre to Mobile/Tablet View - 2 Way Guest Messaging
I understand that 2 way messaging has just been released however being able to do this on a phone would be highly beneficial and not on the desktop view. We are not always in the office and need a quick and easy way to respond to guests.

Guest Portal Field Display Enhancements
To be able to customise what is displayed on the guest portal - being able to remove date field, check in/out field, res status etc. We will be using the guest portal for our annuals/weekenders which are permanents and some have been in house for years and we all set the departure date to 10 years in the future so we would not want them to see the check in/out fields, dates, eta and res status as they are already inhouse and do not need to see this info, so require for these fields to be able to be removed/customised

Addition of a Loyalty Program for login on website through your loyalty number and stay tracking with points accumulation and rewards redemption.

Promote the Suggestion Box
Promote the Suggestion Box and or new Suggestion weekly, The Suggestion Box seems to be forgotten about, if it was promoted regularly you might find more votes & ideas are given, the home screen on RMS9+ would be a good spot.

As you may have noticed over the past few months we have taken significant steps to increase visibility and access to our User Suggestion Box as well as updated the processes surrounding our interactions with customers who have taken the time to provide feedback.
Our User Suggestion Box is monitored daily with our most popular suggestions being put forward for consideration into a future development sprint. As suggestions progress they are updated to reflect the current work status, with notifications sent to subscribers any time there is a status update as well as once the feature has been released to the Beta environment (where applicable) or a publicly accessible environment.
