Message Centre Notification on Add Requirement from Guest Portal
An alert to come up when someone adds a requirement through the guest portal.
its great that with the new feature i can now display optional extras for guests in the portal. However some optional extras require arrangements to be made ahead of time like booking a tour or some hire equipment.
Could we get an alert in the message centre when someone adds an optional extra in the guest portal so it can be actioned immediately?1 vote -
Option to Display Tax Exclusive Rate on RMS IBE for Tax Exclusive Properties
RMS IBE give us an option to REMOVE "Full Rate"
A significant goal of a hotel website is to attract clients to book direct as opposed to using an OTA. Expedia and Booking.com display rates as untaxed. They do this to make the rates seem like a BEST deal. When a potential client is comparing rates on a hotel website to the OTA, it is a negative to see a higher price so prominently on the page! Marketing Opt In/Out to be available on RMS Online Booking Engine
I would like the Marketing Opt In/Out option to be available on RMS Online so the guest can select their preference at the time of booking.

Add Favourite Search Criteria to the Reservation Search
I would like to customise the search items in the Reservation Search list.
In the Reservation Search list there are currently 5 or 6 items above the solid line and I would like to be able to add your favourites to be at the top of that list.

Increase font size of Name & Address on Receipts
Since the upgrade the fonts appear small

Guest Portal - Message Centre Notification for any Reservation Action
Guest Portal - need to have notification emails for any activity on the reservation by a guest
Love the idea of the Guest Portal, but it absolutely needs to have notification emails for any activity on the reservation by the guest.
It's essential that we get an email when there is a payment, change of date etc - otherwise the portal is currently useless to us and we can't use until there is communication to us of any changes, payments.
Would love to see improvements sooner than later to enable better use of the portal

Ability to Delete or Archive Message Threads in the Message Centre
If we complete a message from a guest on the message center, it just stays there. I know I can filter a date, but not if it is the same date. I want to whisp it away and get rid of it. Done! One more thing off the list!

Security Profile Option to Assign Security Profiles to New Users
Separate permissions for ADD Security Profiles and EDIT Security Profile settings
As an enterprise client with 11 units we do not want to provide access to the properties to adjust security settings. We have worked hard to create specific security settings for each position, and we don't want those to change without corporate approval. If we remove security profiles from our Front Office Manager or General Manager security profile they are not able to add new users and assign security profiles at the property level. Gift Vouchers - Sell & Manage in RMS
I've just been spekaing with RMS support and found that currently RMS cannot handle the sale of vouchers online (and no plans with future RMS 9+ rollouts at the moment).
We would like to be able to sell gift vouchers through our website for either a client nominated value, or a value set by us for sale ($50, $100 etc)
The purchaser can nominate the name of the person who they will be giving it to so that the voucher details & any monies held for the voucher value can be in the client account of the guest, and then…

Ability to Set a Booking Source to Populate on Return Guests
The Bkg Source should automatically change to "A Repeat Customer" when that customer books again
This could be very helpful when we want to generate marketing reports on new business and save on booking time.

Cancellation Policy with Cancellation Fees
This would be set up like rates, you cancel within a certain period, a cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel within 14 days on a holiday "X" will be charged. If you cancel within 7 days "X" will be charged. The cancellation policy would be able to be individualized to each business and their policies. To have to have my staff manually have to go in under Sundry and place a fee won't happen. I need it to be automatic, when the cancel button is pushed.
