In/Out printed Reports
I print out the 3 reports each day, the Current In House, the Expected Departures and the Expected Arrivals.
Generally the ability to select which columns are printed on the reports would be very helpful.
At the moment they are predetermined and unchangeable and half the columns are not relevant to my usage of the reports.
For example I would like the ETA column to print on my Expected Arrival report.
I am sure other users would also have different requirements as well
Also the print order of the reports is fixed by arrival date.
From my perspective I would rather have the order by room number so I can quickly find a guest on the list.
You can arrange the order on screen by room number but when the report prints out it has changed the order back to by arrival date.
The ability to adjust the printed column width would also be helpful.
The ‘Guest’ column is way too short.
We have a lot of international guests where the husband and wife retain their original surnames and not just take the husbands name when they are married.
And German names are sometimes particularly long.
On the Expected Departures report it would be nice if the Bill to column printed the name of the Travel Agent rather than just ‘Travel Agent’ as it does on the other 2 reports.
Also it would be handy if we as users could add names into the “Bill To” field.
For example Wotif and Expedia both use Virtual Credit Cards to pay us for the booking.
It would be nice to be able to add in the name VCC to remind us to charge the room to the Virtual Credit Card number supplied by each agent after check-out.
Thank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS 9+.
Currently available on the In/Out screen print options in RMS 9+ is the ability to customise the column display and sort order, then select to print the first 6 columns. This includes increasing the column width up to the limitations of the page.
