Currently available on reports in RMS 9+ is the ability to specify the sort order. For the Reservation Reports such as Arrival & Departure List this includes by Arrive or Depart Date.
These can also be scheduled with the preferred build options to skip users selecting options and manually building the reports each day.

Room minimums so guests can't book fewer people online
We charge per person, and have minimums on our cabins. It would be nice to be able to set those minimums so when a guest wants to book a cabin with a 4 person minimum on it, they can only do that if they have 4 people or pay for 4 people.3 votesThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Currently available on Rate Setup in RMS 9+ is the ability to set the minimum number of guests permitted to book that Rate Type.
The minimum and maximum permitted guests can be setup on the Additionals tab of the Rate Table, along with a Base Person amount to ensure revenue received for the room meets the occupancy criteria required by the property.
An additional suggestion for your scenario would be entering the 4 person rate as the base price for the cabin, with the person base set to 4. This would mean even if someone did only book for 2 people, they would be paying that 4 person base rate.

Enable adding hyperlink to Online Property T&Cs page
Our website T&Cs page is comprehensive and includes links to policy documents. Would like to be able to include a hyperlink to our website T&Cs in the RMS T&Cs setup area.
Setup > Online Bookings > Online Options > T&C/Policies
Guests would benefit from being able to click directly through to view on our website.

Online Options setup in RMS 9+ currently includes the ability to insert basic HTML tags, including hyperlinking and basic text formatting options.
We have scheduled further enhancements to this screen to make it easier for users to use these HTML tags without having HTML knowledge.

Group Reservations
When adding an extra room to an existing group reservation, I would like the new room to appear with a blank client name under the room tab. Currently, it appears with the parent details as the client name. Leaving the name blank allows ease of access to the correct booking and makes the process much quicker.

Send emails from property email address
Allow emails sent from within RMS to have the property email address as a sent from address? When customers reply to the noreply@rms email address they assume the property receives the reply and we have no way of knowing they responded.

The ability to email correspondence from RMS using a Property email address is available and the noreply@rms address will only be used in cases where Property Information & User Information do not have any email address setup.
To use your Property email address, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information and ensure a valid email address is saved in the ‘Email’ field.

Recording of additional mobile phone numbers.
It would be helpful if you could record two mobile numbers on a reservation, so both parties are receiving the SMS messages

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to add multiple guest profiles to a reservation, each with their own contact details. By recording each guest on the reservation, multiple guests can have an SMS sent to them as needed.

We have great trouble believing that modifications and cancellations do not automatically drop into our booking chart.
Please rectify the above problem soon. We have always been with Siteminder at previous motels and they do this easily..

Allow for options other than the "i" icon when showing unavailable options online
Currently, the "i" icon is shown where the "BOOK" icon would normally be if that option was available. It would be fantastic to be able to use something other than the "i" icon, which leads folks to believe they just need to read more to book, when in fact, the option is not available. Perhaps you could add a "NOT AVAILABLE" or "FULLY BOOKED" icon, or allow us to customize it to suit our needs.

when emailing receipts at the moment it just says "Regards, business name".
It would be great if we could personalise this first touch point, to make our business stand out from all the other Junk mail, rather than what is clearly a computer generated email

Cancellation Reason Pop Up Box
Can the Business Lost area be expanded to a Pop Up Box that if made mandatory when a staff member cancels a reservation that a box appears making them select a reason "Why" the guest cancels rather than them having to remember to fill in the business lost section within the reservation

Different file types in "Received (In)" Correspondence required
You should be able to receive and upload ("Received (In)") correspondence in various file types. This allows flexibility to add guest correspondence in a format in which it is received, instead of having to convert the file in order to upload it.
For example, rooming lists, contracts, email trails could be received in PDF / Word / Excel or HTML document formats, and the ability to simply attach these files to a reservation / company profile would be very useful.3 votesThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS 9+.
The ability to record and save Received In Correspondence with attachments is currently available on Guests, Reservations, Companies & Travel Agents in RMS 9+.
Additionally the ability to include adhoc attachments when sending out Correspondence is also available.

Please re-size the electricity statements to fit on A5 paper as they used to in RMS8.
Printing on A4 is such a waste of paper as the existing format in RMS9 only misses the mark by 2 lines.

Available in RMS 9+ Version 10.18.124.1 and later is the ability to assign a paper size to printable items when using Smart Printing. This includes the ability to assign A5 as a paper size for Statements whilst using Smart Printing reduces the number of user clicks.

Be able to add notes on an owners account.
As we manage on behalf of owners often one person from our team may have a conversation with an owner that should be noted for other stuff to refer to in future. Or even just to document a conversation or specific owner request. It would be great to be able to have a central place under the owners that we can add important information that anyone can refer back to at anytime.

Currently available in all versions of RMS is the ability to record correspondence received or add notes to an Owner Profile.
Theese options can be found under the ‘Options’ menu on the ‘Correspondence’ tab of the Owner’s Profile in RMS.

Scan & Store Guest IDs
I would like to be able to scan guest ID's to Guest Accounts
It would be good if we could scan guest ID's to their corresponding guest account for easy identification and to save us asking returning guests to provide ID if they have already done so before.

There are several options available in RMS for storing photo identification on a Guest Profile depending on your preferences.
The RMS Guest Portal can be configured to allow guests to upload their photo id which is then saved and viewable on their Guest Profile in RMS.

We have an interface partner, Adria Scan which can be connected to for the purpose of guest identification.

Alternatively if you already have a scanner at the property the guest ID can be scanned and the file saved on the Photo tab or Correspondence tab using the ‘Received in’ function and adding the ID file as an attachment.

Cleaning / Task order
Changing the order that you want the rooms cleaned in or tasks completed to a custom sort. Example - currently sorts by room number. But instead of 1-18, what if i want/need for cleaning order to be 9-18 then 1-8 to suit the shape of the building and efficiency. Maybe i want the housekeeper to start at 18 and finish at 1. Be nice to sort the portal and reports to be in the order that you want them done

Currently available using the Staff Portal for Housekeeping is the ability to set the Task Priority and have the tasks assigned to a Housekeeper viewed in the Staff Portal by this priority order.
By setting a priority order on Housekeeping Tasks based on guest requirements including Early Check-in the assigned Housekeeper can ensure they complete their assigned tasks using the priority set.
Additional options in the Staff Portal allow Housekeepers to see once a Reservation has Departed so they know they can start their assigned Departure Task or set a Service task as Do Not Disturb when the guests have requested this.

I would like to be able to attach photos to a guest/client account especially when room is left dirty and extra cleaning needed.
I would like to be able to attach photos taken of an apartment to a booking to record dirty rooms that have been charged extra for cleaning

I would like a yes no field for electronic notice consent so that I can easily see who has agreed to receive notices electronically.
As you are possibly aware, as of 1st July 2019 we can ask our Park Residents to sign an ‘Electronic Notice Consent’ so that we may send any notices electronically. There does not seem to be a field in RMS where we can record ‘Electronic Notice Consent Yes or No’. We were wondering if there was an ‘Electronic Notice Consent’ field in RMS (can’t see one) or if RMS would be able to make a field for this? EN Consent? Then we could run a report to excel and have a current list any time we need to send bulk…

Introduced alongside GDPR in 2018 and currently available in all versions of RMS 9+ is the ability to define customised Yes/No filters for marketing or communication purposes against Guest Profiles.

Improve Housekeeping Clean screen
Could we have the ability for option to print Housekeeping Clean Screen in numerical order? It's a big issue for the boss when they come to do property inspections and find everything grouped in room types for 3 floors instead of room number order.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to setup the Display Order of Categories. The Display Order determined here will also be used by the RMS IBE to display the available Categories in the preference order setup.
