RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

    Currently there is no visual differentiation in the reservation tab to for both traces and requirement. it will be great if an additional column can be added so the user know which one has been loaded

  2. the function to auto-generate an invoice when the booking is made (and save it for portal access by a guest)

    It would be great to have the functionality to auto-generate an invoice when a booking is made.

    Basically that it generates, creates that invoice number and is then saved in the reservation (similar to building one now and choosing print, and when you want to view or save it).

    Then once the invoice is generate, guests can access it via their guest/client portal.

    This would streamline processes immensely and save guests needing to request an invoice, but not have it emailed.

  3. Visual status on to do chart

    Right now when we open the To Do Chart its very hard to visualize if a task has already been completed or if it is still pending.

    It would be great if the completed tasks would be crossed over or change color. Same thing for overdue tasks.

  4. Portal link able to be sent to added guests on a reservation and to have their own account not reservation account

    We are a ride park which requires all adult guests to agree to and sign their own legal documents before arrival at the park. Also these additional guests would need their own account to pay for their own riding fees etc
    We cannot use the additional guest feature in RMS reservations because it sends the link to the main guests portal not the additional guests portal and does not allow for them to have their own account
    Is there a way you can make it so each additional guest can receive a link to their own guest portal and have…

  6. I would like the international dialling code to be able to be set as mandatory.

    Currently, there is no way to set the international dialling code to mandatory. If this is going to be a required field for SMS moving forward, it should be a mandatory field OR the ability to set it as mandatory for those who utilise the SMS modules.

  7. I would like 2nd deposits due to show on the Overdue Deposit List for Master Reservations.

    Currently if the RMS reservation is listed as Master, the 2nd deposit is not showing, nor does the individual reservations show up on the Overdue Deposit Report. Could we either have a) Individual reservations on overdue deposit report or b) master reservation on overdue deposit report.

  10. Message Centre - ability to ajust message centre according to user profiles

    I created a security profile for our maintenance team as well as Housekeeping Supervisor.

    Unfortunately in their message centre it is showing all new bookings and other inboxes, which are absolutely not relevant for them.
    Ideally it should only show internal communications and if they have a new job assigned, but there is not option to filter which messages should show for each user profile.

    It would be great to have a function for this.

  11. I would like the maintenance function to be more user friendly for daily operations

    It is great there is a maintenance function, however currently only the desktop version is available on the phone which is very small and hard to read or use on the go. A mobile version is not available.

    There is no way for our maintenance team to see that a new job has been posted (like a notificatin sent to their phone for example). We still need to send a message in our group chat instead of just using RMS as a centralised point.

    This would be a great function to further develop and make it much more user friendly.

    The capability to queue an arrival when a guest physically arrives at the property, even when their assigned room is not yet ready, is essential for managing guest satisfaction. This feature should also reflect on the Housekeepers' reports and screens, as well as the in/out screens used by the front desk staff. It is particularly critical during large arrival days when multiple guests check-in simultaneously, as it enables efficient room management and helps ensure that the needs of guests are met promptly.     We have a lot of form letters with contain nearly identical information but with slight variances for specific situations.

    If I need to change a section of the letters, I quite often have to modify dozens of templates.

    It would be great if the system allowed us to create Form Letter Snippets which could be used as components within form letters.

    The big advantage would be maintainability.

  14. When a reservation's need is removed, there is no charge.

    When we add certain conditions to a reservation, the associated miscellaneous charges will also be automatically posted to the guest account.
    This isn't the case, though, when prerequisites are removed. The associated miscellaneous charge will remain in the guest account even if we delete a condition from the "Requirements" section of a reservation. The arduous process of individually removing the various charges requires us to return to the account. Could this please be improved such that the associated sundry fee from guest accounts is automatically removed when requirements are removed?

  15. Triggered Correspondence – Ability to Target Specific Occupant Configurations

    Would like the ability to set up triggers that target specific reservations based on occupant details.

    Use Case:
    Currently, we have certain forms and information that apply only to specific types of occupants—for example, guests with pets receive pet-related information and a request for pet records. At the moment, we must send these communications to all reservations, even though they are only relevant to a subset (e.g., guests with pets).

    Requested Functionality:
    Enable automated triggers or filters that send communications only to reservations meeting defined criteria, such as having a pet, child, or other occupant attributes.

  16. Housekeeping

    Housekeeping Tasks -
    When creating a requirement (for example, split beds), it would be helpful to have the option to automatically generate a corresponding task for the housekeeping roster.

    At present, the requirement appears in the housekeeping report but not in the Housekeeper App. We currently have to enter it manually both as a task and as a requirement, which doubles the work. Automating this process would streamline operations and reduce manual entry errors.

  17. I would like to see "additionals" added to the exclusion list for digital policies.

    I would like to see "additionals" added to the exclusion list for digital policies. Currently we can only exclude areas from the triggered correspondance, meaning that guests with bookings on sites (that have not marked a dog/cat as an additional) are still receiving the triggered digital pet policy.

  19. Customizable Pre- and Post-Stay Guest Messaging

    I’d love to see RMS offer a feature where properties can set up customized guest communications that trigger before arrival or after departure. Examples include:

    A welcome message with property info and check-in instructions a few days before arrival.

    A mid-stay reminder about amenities, dining options, or activities.

    A thank-you message after departure that includes a survey link or loyalty program invitation.

    This kind of automation would not only reduce manual tasks but also help build stronger guest relationships and encourage repeat bookings.

  20. Crew Change

    We have bookings for companies who stay for extended periods and at times will change workers over in the accommodation. It would be good if there was a way it would show when a replacement guest is due to check-in and the current guests departure date without having to create a new booking. We have companies who have on-going bookings that can be for long stay which reduces the GST component but not if we have to make it a new booking.
