Allow more units to be displayed on booking chart in 9+
In version 9 at least 76 units can be viewed on booking chart however in v9+ it is only possible for us to see a maximum number of 32 units in 5 categories when we operate in full screen on Google Chrome. 9+ needs the be given the ability to display many more units like that of 9 and to do this we can think of at least 2 ways that this should be able to be done quite simply. One way is to add a number of extra “Row Height” options, as found in booking chart options, such as “extra small x 2” and “extra small x 3” etc and alternatively go back to allowing the user to nominate a number of units to display if this is possible but perhaps the new programming language will not allow for this now? Another way to allow more units to be displayed is to trim any unnecessary row height from any existing rows and use this saved height to effectively display more units/rows. To do this a simple additional booking chart option named say “Row Height” that say gives the option to "Minimise" or "Maximise" to implement or cancel.

Hi I see the option now in RMS9+ but I still cannot show all the units like it did on RMS9.
Room Height: Extra Small
View By: Room (by room type display order)
Show Special Event Row: ON
Any chance we can make another option change the room height to even smaller (plenty of room). Or combine the special event back into the date layout like in RMS9 (as an extra option).
Fully agree with Shelley on seeing all units is most beneficial for day to day operations.
Thank you for your feedback on 9+, we are happy to hear all comments on our new platform to ensure it is the best version of RMS!
We are pleased to let you know that we will be making changes to the 9+ Booking Chart in the coming months to ensure that the number of areas you can see now on your chart will still be visible in 9+ when you set your Booking Chart options to;
- View = 'Area (by Category Display Order)'
- Area Height = 'Extra Small'
We will repost once this work has been completed so watch this space!
I am not looking forward to swapping over and using 9+ if I can only see all units. Shelley Exmouth
Yes I do work with Greg but would like to iterate how important it is to us to be able to see all of our units on one page. I am presently working with Version 9 and every so often will try 9+ but I do not feel at all comfortable not being able to see all units on the one page and go back to 9. Being that we have only just stopped using version 8 where we could easily see our 47 units on one page it seems a big step backwards in that it can no longer be done.
Yes Greg! This is so frustrating for our park, especially when we can view all of our room types on the one screen in RMS9 and in RMS9+ we can only view half of our room types on the one screen.
