Please add the Active Window Box in 9+
Please add the Active Window Box into 9+
In 9 the Active Window icon on the top right was very handy remind me of reservations that I had open.
Thank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS 9+.
It is always great to hear when a feature of an RMS product is valued by our customers and we understand the importance of being able to quickly toggle between screens during the working day.
For this reason, we have featured how to do this in RMS 9+ in our monthly newsletter and included the RMS 9+ version of ‘Active Windows’ in our Knowledge Base.
For more information on how to have multiple windows of RMS 9+ open at any one time, please see the below knowledge base article.

We appreciate your valuable feedback and look forward to introducing exciting new features from our user suggestions in the coming months.
Regards,
RMS Product Development

system should be designed so you don't end up with a mess of open screens that you then have to individually close. at least make the main navigation buttons as one screen and not a new screen each time clicked. There is no need for duplicate screens.

On the old RMS Desktop Application, there was an icon in the top right corner called ACTIVE WINDOWS which allowed you to flick between unsaved windows. An example; if I was inputting a new reservation and a guest came to check in, I could go to the check in guests reservation, check them and then go back to inputting the new reservation by using the Active Windows icon.
On the new RMS 9+, you cannot leave an unsaved/incomplete reservation without having to open a new web browser and log back into RMS - incognito screen or complete different browser (google chrome and firefox). The time wasted opening a new screen and logging in leaves guests waiting and could potentially result in loss of revenue.
PLEASE BRING BACK ACTIVE WINDOWS!

isn't it frustrating that the programmers took away this feature in rms9+. it is a basic feature that we require on a daily basis which causes many issues now.

Sometimes our phone rings while we are in the middle of entering a booking and we need to go into another guests' reservation. If RMS would allow us to save an incomplete booking, that would greatly increase our efficiency. Currently, if we get interrupted when entering a booking we need to close the reservation we are working on without saving, then start again from the beginning. Perhaps the booking could be saved in another colour if all the boxes aren't filled, to remind us that it's incomplete.

Hello, with RMS 9+ you are still able to use this feature, however it works slightly differently.
You are able to open 5 different tabs of your RMS program.
So if you are currently on the booking chart and want to open the in out movements screen without moving off the chart simply right click on the menu item and choose to open it in a new window!

Yes, our park too is completely flabbergasted by the removal of this feature. It is a basic feature that is a MUST, having removed this feature has already caused our park lots of grief by having to open multiple windows.

We currently use RMS9 with the desktop app. We can have multiple windows open and easily switch from a guest reservation to the map or booking chart to easily select dates and sites for the guest. We are very busy and need to quickly switch windows to check in guests, search reservations and make changes to reservations. This works fine in RMS9 but in RMS9+ we can not open multiple windows. If we have a guest reservation open and need to check alternate dates on the map we can not just go back to the guest reservation, we have to search for the guest again. Having multiple windows open is a basic feature of all modern programs. I do not understand how you could delete this feature in RMS9+.
