Add the Availability Calendar to the RMS IBE Search Page
Currently when guests through RMS book now they have to put in dates then see if the property is available. I have enabled the interactive calendar while a lot better it is possible to have this show first so they do not have to got through some many steps The current way is very "clunky" and not user friendly.
Thank you for your feedback on a way we can improve RMS 9+.
We appreciate the valuable feedback of our customers and encourage you to review other suggestions and vote on those you would find of benefit.
We will continue monitoring this suggestion for user feedback and look forward to introducing exciting new features from our user suggestions in the coming months.
Kind Regards,
RMS Product Development

agree - th UX for the online booking is clunky and very limited with how to refine searches and show availibility - unfortunately we are in the same situation with looking to other systems that have much better usibility for mobile customers especially.

I completely agree. The guest facing part of RMS is not good enough. When you compare it to other booking programs, the guest experience is lacking and clunky.
The calendar should show first and a potential guest should at a glance be able to see what is available on your property. They should not have to clink into each category to see.
We have three very different glamping tents, so each is its own category. However, this means that a guest must click into each one to see if it is available.
Why can't there be a main calendar that shows that on chosen dates, there is one available or two or none or whatever it is and then it should suggest the first available date that a room (tent) is available.
I've found this really disappointing the way RMS is comprehensive behind the scenes, but so poorly designed for guest use and on top of that, the mobile version is terrible. Mobile is the main way people search for accommodation.
This issue here was brought up back in 2019, so I hold no hope that you will soon look at this. I've been asking about this since we first signed up about eight months ago and nothing has changed.
We'll probably go to another Booking Company eventually if it doesn't change. -

I agree. I find the booking pages not user friendly. Also the available rates should appear at the top of the blurb and pics about the room or category. Especially on mobiles this is not user friendly. I think RMS should get a working group together to give input into the interface. I see that this idea is nearly three years old and we need a very streamlined interface for customers to book.
