We are in an area which is subject to frequent earthquake tremors, power brown outs etc and we would like an emergency report button so when we become aware of an issue (such as a tremor) and can expect a power outage, we can head into the reports menu and hit a single button to generate a selection of daily reports for manual operation that are printed and emailed immediately to nominated printer/email.

A currently available feature that may be useful for your situation in the interim of this feature being developed, if you aren't already using them are Scheduled Reports.
Your key reports can be setup to email automatically to a selected group of users at a set frequency making them immediately available for printing or viewing from a mobile device in the event of an emergency.
