Online Checkins Filter Expedia and Booking.com Virtual Cards
If a guest who has paid one of these two popular OTAs wants to do an online checkin for late arrival or whatever. Could RMS detect an expedia or booking.com virtual card to exclude a prepayment requirement. I realize one can filter out ALL expedia and booking.com reservations from prepaying requirements as well as stipulate that they need to create a token.The Expedia virtual cards, for example, have the word "expedia" in the token. We have had prepaid guests from Expedia pay twice because of the settings. We have also had OTA guests (more than one might expect) perpetuate fraud with stolen credit cards or other criminal activity. We do not want to exclude non-prepaid OTA guests from the deposit requirement and getting a, potentially fraudulent, token is not enough.
