Request for Review and Improvement of RMS Adria Scan Document Scanning Process
Hi Support,
We would like to check if the document scanning process in RMS can be simplified.
Currently, we are using the Adria Scan module to scan guests’ ID cards, passports, or driving licences into RMS. In most cases, a single reservation includes multiple guests. Before scanning, we are required to manually create the corresponding number of guest profiles, click Save, and wait for the system to update before scanning can begin.
After that, we need to enter each guest profile individually to scan the document, click Save, wait for RMS to update the data, exit the guest page, and then repeat the same steps for the next guest. Each time we exit and re-enter a guest profile, there is a noticeable loading delay. This significantly increases the check-in time, especially for reservations with multiple guests, which is not ideal for our operations.
We would like to explore whether the document scanning workflow can be improved. Below are our suggestions:
1. Direct scanning after adding a guest
Is it possible to initiate document scanning immediately after clicking “Add Guest,” without requiring us to first save and exit the guest page?
Additionally, if we choose not to scan at that moment or prefer to manually key in guest details first, the system could allow us to close the scan window and return to the guest page.
2. Next / Previous navigation between guest profiles
If manual creation and saving of guests is required, could RMS consider adding “Next” and “Previous” buttons within the guest profile page?
This would allow us to move between guest profiles seamlessly to scan documents without repeatedly saving, exiting, and reloading each guest page. Once all documents are scanned, we could then save and exit in one go, which would greatly improve efficiency.
We hope RMS can consider enhancing the document scanning workflow, as this would significantly reduce guest check-in time and improve the overall user experience.
Thank you for your time and support. We look forward to your advice.
