We'd like to request a new pre-authorization option: "Total Rate plus set amount per Reservation."
Right now the closest options are "Total Rate plus set amount per night" and "Total Rate plus set percentage of Total Rate," but neither of these gives us what we actually need, which is to pre-auth the full stay amount plus a single flat deposit (e.g. $100) regardless of how many nights the guest is staying.
"Per night" doesn't work because the buffer scales with stay length; a 7-night guest gets $350 held on top of their room charges if we set it to $50/night, which is excessive. We just want a flat $100 on top of the total no matter what.
This was standard on our previous system and it's a pretty common setup for independent hotels. Is this something that could be added as a pre-auth calculation option?
