Larger Print size on reports
Print size on all of the reports that we print daily for our office and security staff, with the new update, print extremely small.
Very difficult to read during the day with good eyes, let alone trying to
read these reports while guests are awaiting a response during evening hours.Glasses are expensive - HELP US PLEASE !
Reports include: In House, Arrival, Departure, Site Availability, Overdue Arrival and Maintenance

Correct screens on 9+ version before release
Looking at the beta version of 9+ and the client and res notes need to be clicked open. Before you release the version can you please ensure the screens look the same as 8 and 9. When on the front desk at a busy check in or check out the new screens require another step to click the notes down and up again rather than with an easy glance. Thank you

Cash transaction report
If the credit card receipt total in the cash transaction report took into account any credit card refunds it would make it a straight forward check of the credit card receipt total against the EFTPOS terminal report. Currently any refunds have to be manually adjusted to make sure everything is balancing.

Remove from Group button
Within a reservation it is now possible to add an existing reservation to make it a group which is great, however there isn't an option to "Remove Exsisting Res" from group which we encountered the other day and would have been handy instead of cancelling and remaking a booking.

We are pleased to advise that this feature available in RMS 9+ Version 10.18.124.3 or later,.
This option appears on the Area tab of a Group Reservation and will allow for removing one reservation at a time from the Group into a Single Reservation.
We encourage you to vote on other suggestions that you would find of benefit or add any new suggestions you may have for ways we can continue to improve RMS products.

remove the "space sensitive"component from cust. search so that searching phone no's and car regos is easier. add smart search in this area
Remove the 'space sensitive' component from the customer search area so that looking for a customer via phone number or car rego doesn't rely on how someone else entered it. Smart search could be added to the customer search area, not just in the booking page.

Autofill for Tokens
When creating a token manually, it would be so much faster if RMS would autofill the guest name for us while still allowing us to edit the name if we need to.

Please note that we have Developed this Enhancement. When creating a new Token the Client’s Given Name and Surname will be primed in the Cardholder Name field. This Filed will also be highlighted to allow this to be easily overwritten.
This will be available in RMS9 Version 9.1.937.0 and will be released through to the Live Environment in the coming weeks.

Booking Chart - Spotlight on New Reservations Arriving Today
Same day reservations made online should be bolded or brightly colored in the booking chart so that the front desk has time to check/prepare for their arrival. Or a pop up window in the booking chart to let the user know of a new reservation.

We are pleased to advise that online reservations made with an arrival date of today will alert staff via the Message Centre. This feature is currently available in our Beta envioronment and will become publicly available with the next full release to the RMS Live environment.

RMS Book Now Button to Restrict Maximum Adults & Children Based on Additionals Figures on Tariff Setup
Tariffs created on Tariff Availability Chart include the ability to set minimum and maximum number of adults and children against the tariff. It would be good if these figures also restricted the number of bookable adults and children for this room/rate combination on the RMS Book Now Button. Currently only overall maximum occupants can be set against a Category or Area so this would assist break down these restrictions further.
1 voteHello Briony, it was a little while since you logged this suggestion and I’m not sure if it was a bug at the time but pleased to report that the RMS Book Now Button is now accurately limiting the number of adults and children to that set in the rate/avail chart.

Ability to have a 'property visit log' recorded again each property / unit
We would like to start a 'property visit log' for whenever we visit one of our properties, so that any notes can be recorded against it, for example cheeked cleaning, checked gas bottles, hazards etc Is there an option to use an RMS 8 or 9 feature to record these details against the relevant property?
We would record on paper during the visit, and then transcribe into the property information once back in the office.1 voteHello Nicole, thanks for the suggestion. A lesser known feature in RMS is the Jobs Maintenance (or as I prefer to call it the preventive maintenance module) should work perfectly for this requirement. Typically the module is used to report jobs that have to be done but can just as efficiently record what has been done. A complimentary reporting suite and search screen would do all you need I am sure.

Would like a "rewards" system in RMS9 for repeat guests
We would like a "rewards" system in RMS9 like frequent guests so that they could get a free night after 10 visits, etc.
30 votesWe are pleased to advise that the RMS Guest Loyalty Rewards Module is now available in RMS 9+ Version 10.19.315.6 and above.
This version is currently in our Release Candidate (RC) Environment and will be included in the next RMS 9+ Live Release.

Fix calculation of deposits or Enable manual override of deposits
RMS currently does not calculate the deposits correctly(first and second). This occurs when rates change. during the negotiations with the customer. Furthermore RMS does not allow manual override of second deposit when it is wrong.

Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V will work in RMS9 however 9+ will have the abilty to right click one again

Initial booking screen requires the same order as Field Maintenance setup.
When putting in client reservation details. we start putting in their surname and then after putting in their street address it jumps back to surname.

18 votesOur 9+ Booking Chart allows you to click in a cell to make a reservation.
You can also choose to click and drag across many days to make a multi day booking.
To create a group booking simply hold down the control key on your keyboard and click and drag the rooms/days you wish to book!To learn more please see the below help article;

Thank you for posting your Enhancement Request!
Both Receipts and Refunds for Credit Cards are tallied on the Cash Transactions report to provide you with a Grand Total of each card type at the end of your shift, as long as the Group By option is left as Income Source.
You can access the Cash Transactions report via Reports > Accounting > Cash Transactions.

Being able to do a PrintScreen on some of the screens as we input info
I find it a long process doing my rates every year and if I could do a PrintScreen of some of the info from the previous year it would sure help in getting the new year done correctly. There are also other times I wish I could do a PrintScreen, especially in training a new person. Showing them what "it" looks like would help.
