A message or flag within RMS when there is an unactioned 'QUOTE' in the system
When a booking is made via an online provider and cannot be completed with RMS we current just get an email saying it is a quote.
Could we also have a flag of some sort with RMS that highlights that there is a booking that requires attention.7 votesThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Currently available in RMS 9+ is a Quote widget on the Dashboard to highlight any quote reservations in the system as well as a Booking Chart view that includes displaying these Unallocated Quote Reservations.
Additional messaging enhancements are currently scheduled to provide further notifications and alerts for users in response to the valuable feedback provided.

Please move the "completed task boxes" from the top right corner
Is there anyway that the "completed task boxes" (green and blue boxes that pop up in the right hand corner to say "printed" or "saved" etc) could be moved to a different corner? The right hand corner is commonly where the "close window" or "exit" would be so we are having to wait for the "completed task boxes" to fade away before being able to close the current window and move on to the next task etc. This is slowing us down.

We are pleased to advise that currently available in RMS 9+ the confirmation message pop-ups now display in the lower right corner, removing the blockage users previously experienced from accessing screen buttons.

We operate three properties all of which work with Helloworld and its subsidiaries - AOT, ATS Pacific, ETA, AOT NZ, Qantas Holidays, Viva Holidays, Sunlover, Territory Discoveries etc.

Manual override to take you back to where you were working instead of bottom of screen
When making rate changes and you do a manual override and save exit it takes you all the way to the bottom of the chart. It would be nice if it stayed in the same place you were working as it did in the desktop version of RMS.

Ability to attached picture files such as screen shots of error messages to service requests

Need a Closed to departure option.
We have closed to arrival and departure on saturdays- Therefore friday and saturday nights must be taken together. I have set the closed to arrival restriction on RMS but there is no closed to departure option?

Create Special Membership Sites for Online Booking
Many accommodation sites are now creating "Members Sites" where best rates are made available for their members as well as other benifits
Members can login to book online to access "members only" special rates can been seen
Members can login to see their existing bookings.

Currently available for setup in RMS 9+ and used with the RMS IBE is the ability to setup multiple ‘Generic’ RMS IBE sites that are accessible via a separate link to the main booking pages.
These ‘Generic’ sites can have their own special member rates assigned and with the combination of being able to setup Rates as available to Members Only or with the use of a special Promo Code the membership sites can be created as needed.

PHOTOS ON THE BOOK NOW BUTTON FOR TABLETS & MOBILE
In 2016 and the importance of great web design for mobile devices, it astounds me that no photos can be added for the RMS book now button. Photo's only appear on desktops. How are customers expected to know what they are booking. Photo's speak louder than words. I suggest we are loosing many bookings and therefore, money, to OTA's

The new designed RMS IBE includes these photos in the mobile and tablet views for more seamless integration with users property marketing and branding.

Identify group bookings in reservation screen
It would be great if a group booking could be easily identified in the reservation screen - perhaps as another colour

Allow more units to be displayed on booking chart in 9+
In version 9 at least 76 units can be viewed on booking chart however in v9+ it is only possible for us to see a maximum number of 32 units in 5 categories when we operate in full screen on Google Chrome. 9+ needs the be given the ability to display many more units like that of 9 and to do this we can think of at least 2 ways that this should be able to be done quite simply. One way is to add a number of extra “Row Height” options, as found in booking chart options, such as…

Expand "special event" to 3 rows
The Booking Chart has a row at the top "Special Events". It is very useful to us when guests ring to book, as we can either explain why we are booked out, or what events are on during their stay, or encourage them to stay longer because xyz event is coming up.. It has many uses.
It often occurs that there are more than 1 event on the same day. Is it possible to get RMS to increase this to 3 rows?

Currently available in RMS 9+, the Special Events row on the Booking Chart will expand to display as many Special Events as have been setup across the viewed date range for the Property being viewed.
This applies to other charts in RMS where the Special Events row is available.

Group Name Change
When a Group's name is changed it must flow through to all the siblings as well. How can RMS say that siblings could be part of different groups in the same reservation? If a sibling is added to a group, they naturally are part of that group!! If the sibling is supposed to part of a different group, surely that means a totally different group name and a different booking? I think sometimes RMS just wants to make things difficult for the users.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is a Group Name field associated to the reservation which functions separately to the existing Group Name field on the Guest Details.
When using the field on Reservation Details, like all other Reservation Details a prompt to update on sibling reservations will become available.

Projected balance needed, when the system works off Nightly Tariff
When the system works on nightly tariff, the nightly rates are added to the reservation each night.
Currently there is no way to see the full amount, and what the total amount payable is when printing invoices, statements, receipts etc.
A 'Projected Balance' is needed in these places, so if a customer pays in full on check-in, they can see the total value matches the amount they have paid.

Wider time range for ETA times - online bookings
At the moment the ETA field for online bookings is auto-filled with times from 2pm - 10pm.
Just because standard check-in time is 2pm, doesn't meant the guest is expecting to arrive at 2pm.
It would be helpful for our staff to know actual times the guests are expecting to arrive.
Could we have the ability to manage the times that appear in the ETA drop down for online bookings?

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to setup available Arrival Times for guests to select both in Online Options for use with the RMS IBE as well as the Guest Portal setup.
For Online Options, this setting can be found on the ‘Page Settings’ tab and the time range selected will adjust what times are available for the ETA field online.

Tariff / Availability Chart - Ability to view total property occupancy as a figure and percentage
It would be very handy to see the sum of all room types displayed as a figure and percentage for each day at the top or bottom of this chart. This would help highlight busy and quite periods for the entire property and not just room types.
The option to highlight 100% occupancy for both room types and days would be great.

Currently available in RMS 9+ both on the Rate Manager & Availability Chart are occupancy views that will display occupancy for either the Property or Category depending on the option selected in Setup > Property Options > Property Information.

Add Cancellation Policy by Tariff Type, not once per property
Currently, we cannot have more than one cancellation policy. We can only set it once. It is common that properties manage their promotions and peak periods with different cancellation policies, especially a non-refundable policy.
We should be able to create multiple cancellation policies, and link these to the Tariff Types. This should feed through to RMS Online bookings as well as bookings made direct in the RMS system. All 3rd party booking channels already allow this.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to set Cancellation Policies per Rate Type, per Property. These will then apply anywhere that Rate Type is used.

Enhance the RMS emails sent for Booking.com bookings. They need more information
Currently these emails provide no information on the change that has taken place.
The emails need to clearly state the original booking details, the modifications that have been made, and a credit card number if the credit card has been updated in Booking.com.
If the guest has updated their credit card details, this new card needs to integrate into RMS.
Also, the subject line is the same for all "Booking.com Modification". This means the emails become grouped as one email in our email accounts. The Booking ID should be in the subject line to make the emails unique.

Currently available from RMS are Booking.com modification emails that includes the original Guest Name, Arrive & Depart Dates as well as the individual fields that have been modified and what they were changed to.

To be able to email a rooming list directly from RMS
It would so much easier and less time consuming if we were able to email a group rooming list directly from RMS instead of having to build a rooming list, export it, then open an email program, and send an email by attaching the file. It is all well and good that this is able to be done in RMS9+ but we aren't using RMS9+.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to email the Area List from the Group Reservation by selecting ‘Email’ on the build screen.
On a Group Reservation, navigate to the Area tab, select the ‘Area List’ button and choose the options required. From this build screen, select ‘Email’ to send instead of printing.
