I would like guests to see the number of rooms available and to be able to book muliple rooms in one click.
On the booking screen, guests should be able to see a message EG. ONLY 2 Rooms left.
Also have the ability to select No. of Rooms.
Currently guests who want to make a group booking ring us as they can't see if there is availability to book more than one room. They currently add one to cart then get message of no more rooms when trying to add another room to the cart. They have to keep guessing availability until they can get two or more rooms booked for the same time period. Very frustrating for guest experience.1 vote -
Customise Confirmation email from RMS book now button.
The email confirming is a confirmation provided automatically from RMS Book Now Button (also known as Internet Booking Engine IBE),
This would be much better if we could customise as the formatting and information is poorly presented.

Mobile version shows $0 at the top and does not clearly state this is the CART. This does not show on the PC verson.

I would like guests to select to pay deposit by bank transfer or Credit card
I would like guests to select to pay deposit by bank transfer or Credit card. If credit card is selected and deposit taken, booking is confirmed. If guest selects bank transfer their booking is pending until changed by hotel when money is seen in the bank account.

Red Listed Previous Guest - No longer allowed at park - Make Guest Account Inactive
Would like if a previous guest is Red Listed (not welcome back) for system to not let them book online. These would me already marked as red listed in system.
This could be an option to mark their whole guest account "Inactive" my management. This way they don't get emails that are blasted out or any communications.
Also, In/Out Screen - need to see red if someone is red listed as it is on the guest search. If you make a reservation and see it in the In/Out Movements screen it is not red. It sure would be great to…

The IBE isnt user friendly on tablet devices
On a tablet or IPAD or PC with less than 15" screen the next step after adding a room selection is not obvious to the user as the "Book now" or Continue button or Cart symbol is not visible unless you return to the very top of the page. According to help via a service request this is because the "banner/header" takes up too much space on the device hiding further selections. Yet on a smaller Android phone the book now stays visible while scrolling and works perfectly.

Present professional looking quotations
Would love to spit out pretty looking quotes like how the IBE screens look, so you can attach via PDF or copy and paste into an email. With some pictures and room information, and pretty clear dates for a quote. Even a Quote Number if they want to book.

Increase time limit for online bookings to 1 hour due to new IBE discount function

Loading message for RMS IBE URL search
Currently we use URL modifiers and the RMS IBE for a "Search all accom" on these dates - as we have to search a large number of properties (categories) there is a large 4-7 second lag while the page loads (betaboooking8.blablabla).
It would be great to have a "Results loading" gif/image that appears on this white page, so we do not lose customers at this point.
It would be great if we could also upload a company logo as SVG at this point, but even a generic text based "Results loading" would be better than the current white screen.

Change online calendar wording when a day is restricted for booking
I've made Saturday a non-book in day, so that I don't have people booking a Thursday/Friday and leaving Saturday, which is a higher rate, not booked. However, this means that it says"Depart Only" on the Guest Booking Calendar. Is there any way of changing that term to something like "no arrival or depart" instead. It's a bit confusing the way it reads at the moment for guests.
The front facing to guests part of RMS needs some work. The backend is brilliant.

RMS T & Cs are too lengthy and off-putting
The RMS T & Cs are excessive and off putting. We have had one customer book through booking.com instead of using RMS because in his view "I read the “Terms and Conditions” of the booking on your site and it appeared very onerous and not in my favor. I got the impression that the web site could have multiple errors or omissions and they were allowed but I had to do everything right or forfeit the booking."
This is not what we want customers to think.

Booking Summary Page needs more information
After a guest makes a reservation on the IBE the confirmation summary page gives an option to :Go To My Booking".
When you click on this button and go to the booking summary via the guest portal there is no indication on the summary of any Extras that may have been added during the reservation process.

More Detail of Extras Ordered
When completing an IBE reservation the summary page shows a field "Extras" and an amount for these.

I would like to be able to add my Facebook pixel for remarketing
We run ads on social media for 'book now' campaigns and would like to be able to embed our Facebook pixel in the IBE so we can track who clicks through, for remarketing purposes.

Group reservations to default to rate on group and trigger a group confirmation
When a guest books multiple rooms it creates a group folio but there is no way to trigger a Group Confirmation showing how many rooms they have booked. Also would like Group on Rate to be the default instead of having to toggle to on.

Improve the mobile booking experience for guests
The mobile guest facing booking engine is not great. When you land on that page on mobile, instead of showing the information about your accommodation, it says "About Us".
Then the booking system should automatically offer the availability calendar and give instructions on booking as it's not simple to use.
Then when you get to "Add on Extras", it doesn't show any information/description about the Extras. This is where we have a chance to upsell and this should be an absolute.
