RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

    For Example, I want the Housekeeping Report to show Room / Status / Task / Notes

    but NOT Room Type / People/ Depart / Time Spent.

    This would allow users to De-clutter the report for Housekeepers reading it.

  2. RMS IBE to Display Availability Calendar on Mobile

    It would be great if guests could view the online availability calendar on mobile devices.

    When a guest wants to book certain dates on a computer they can search for dates and if they are not available click on the online calendar to search for other dates that might be available. However when attempting to book on a mobile device the online availability calendar is not an option.   3. Channel Disconnect Notification Alert

    Currently we do not receive a channel disconnection notification from RMS. Instead of monitoring the channel connection on a periodical basis, is there a feature for RMS to notify us immediately of a channel disconnection?

  4. Scheduled invoicing for long term guests

    To be able to schedule an automated invoice to be sent weekly/fortnightly so cash flow can be maintained for long term guests being paid for by a company.

  5. Tokenise Credit Cards on EFTPOS Payment with CBA

    It would be handy if when a walk-in guest pays with their credit card through the CBA Albert Eftpos machine, their credit card is automatically added into the vault as a token to hold for security and future bookings.

  6. Custom Labels for Fields in the Guest Portal

    We need the ability to rename the fields in Guest Portal. We need to use the "common terms" we already use in our Form Letters and all our communication to guests in the Guest Portal as well. Customizing the name to fit our needs will avoid any confusion.

    For example, instead of "Booking Confirmation Number", we'd like it to be "NISADE Reference No." because this is what's in all of our correspondences (form letter, email, etc.).

  9. Emergency Report

    Emergency Report button

    We are in an area which is subject to frequent earthquake tremors, power brown outs etc and we would like an emergency report button so when we become aware of an issue (such as a tremor) and can expect a power outage, we can head into the reports menu and hit a single button to generate a selection of daily reports for manual operation that are printed and emailed immediately to nominated printer/email.

  10. Housekeeping Clean Screen - Change Colour of 'Inspect' Status to be Different to 'Dirty'

    Make colours different for 'dirty' and 'ready to inspect' it makes it easier for all to get a status at a glance. They are currently both red!

  12. Move the Credit Hold Y/N button & not allow "No" without credit amount in the AR tab

    Move the Credit Hold Y/N button from the Company Details tab of the Company Profile to the Accounts Receivable tab (or another separate tab) that can be locked using Security Profiles.
    Anyone that creates or edits company profile information can tick this (without having accounts/finance departments follow credit check procedures), allowing guests to be invoiced after checkout without going through a credit check approval process therefore leaving the business with a high level of risk of non-approved clients having unpaid bills.
    The Credit Hold Y/N button should not be able to be enabled (switched to "NO") without a Credit Limit…

  14. Housekeeping Tasks Setup

    This is in two parts:-
    1. Have the ability to add colour coding for each task type - Useful with Housekeepers report for housekeepers to quickly identify what task is required for each room.
    2. Have the ability to have one task override another task - Useful with the Housekeeping report, as housekeepers don't need to see the rooms needing Service when that room is scheduled for a Linen Change as the Linen Change includes Service tasks.

  15. Online Payments Using Existing Account Credit

    To have guests that have account credits to be able to use them for online bookings

    I would like guests to have access to pay for future bookings with credits held in client account via IBE or Guest Portal. I have many guests with credit now (as a result of COVID lockdowns) that I have to keep track of and book manually to be able to use the credit. I would like the guests to manager this themselves by being able to access their accounts and credits when booking online.

  16. Automated Direct Debit or Credit Card Payment

    I would like guests to be able to elect autopayment for recurring charges

    I would like the ability for our long term guests to opt in to autopayment of their monthly charges, where they could select the date that they would like their credit card payment taken and the amount that they would like charged. This would be very convenient for guests and staff.

  17. Ability to Generate Unique Promo Codes for Discounts

    Add "discount code"

    It would be nice to have a discount code that can be given to Guests that they can apply on the IBE for a discount on their reservation. This is similar to many online systems where the property could design the discount and apply a specific code to the discount. Then the guest could apply the code online to redeem the discount.

  20. Ability to Customise Covid Questions & Flagged Answers

    Setup to determine if yes or no is flagged in response to COVID-19 statements


    We have had a number of guests confused by the COVID-19 statements. Part of the problem is having to write negative questions to result in a positive response, as negative responses are flagged.

    It would be helpful if we can determine whether a yes or no response is flagged for each individual question.

    This would allow the questions to be re-written in a more natural way.
