RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. I would like to be able to visually represent Stop Sells in the Booking Chart

    When a stop sell is loaded, I would like this to be highlighted in the booking chart (not using maintenance feature or special events tab).

  2. Ability to mark Guest Portal Messages as 'Actioned'

    Have a done/ tick box for the guest portal messages .

    When multiple users are responding to messages via the guest portal a tick to show it has been done or is being dealt with would be good - similar to outlook, which we use the done tick when responding to emails, to save an unprofessional double up .
    At the moment the only way we can stop this is to archive the message , which is not a terrific option as it would be good to see the messages dealt with and find them quickly.

  3. Owner Portal - Display Owner Reservations in a Different Colour

  5. Make it harder for an employee to be able to wipe out a previous guest profile by simply changing the name on the res.

    It's all too easy for a desk clerk to wipe out a previous guest's profile by simply changing the name on a reservation rather than clicking on the "Replace Guest" button. Perhaps bring up a popup message when changing the name on a res that says something like "Are you sure that you want to remove previous guest's profile?"

  6. Present professional looking quotations

    Would love to spit out pretty looking quotes like how the IBE screens look, so you can attach via PDF or copy and paste into an email. With some pictures and room information, and pretty clear dates for a quote. Even a Quote Number if they want to book.

  7. Improve the mobile booking experience for guests

    The mobile guest facing booking engine is not great. When you land on that page on mobile, instead of showing the information about your accommodation, it says "About Us".

    Then the booking system should automatically offer the availability calendar and give instructions on booking as it's not simple to use.

    Then when you get to "Add on Extras", it doesn't show any information/description about the Extras. This is where we have a chance to upsell and this should be an absolute.

  8. Provide email notification for expiring Scheduled Reports when your group has multiple standalone properties.

    Provide email notification, ontop of the message centre, for expiring Scheduled Reports. We have 9 standalone properties with head office originating these reports but we do not receive notification. We physically have to log into each property to see the notification.

  10. Online Checkins Filter Expedia and Booking.com Virtual Cards

    If a guest who has paid one of these two popular OTAs wants to do an online checkin for late arrival or whatever. Could RMS detect an expedia or booking.com virtual card to exclude a prepayment requirement. I realize one can filter out ALL expedia and booking.com reservations from prepaying requirements as well as stipulate that they need to create a token.The Expedia virtual cards, for example, have the word "expedia" in the token. We have had prepaid guests from Expedia pay twice because of the settings. We have also had OTA guests (more than one might expect) perpetuate fraud…

  11. Add Receipt Type to User Security Profile

    We have a few receipt types that we would not like some of our users to have access to. For example we have a receipt type called A/R that we use to bill certain guests. However, some of our users are using this for guests that are not setup with terms.

  12. Add Housekeeping Time Spent to Housekeepers Report & Clean Screen

    Housekeeping task times

    I know you have the functionality so that we can see when housekeeping started and finished a task when using housekeeping tablets however it would be a brilliant idea if you had a column that calculated how many minutes it took rather than us to have to do it manually. Would be great to be able to export a report also so we can keep a record of times.

  13. Automated Quote Reservation Process

    This idea is basically an extension on the triggered correspondence functionality.

    A customisable workflow solution would have triggers, decision points, actions and diary events.

    For example, a quote followup workflow would be ;

    • trigger quote status 7 days prior to arrival date.
    • automatic workflow decisions based of field values, such as quotes for a specific agent might be ignored.
    • automate a correspondence
    • set a followup date.
    • etc

    Such workflow builders are common in CRM systems. I can provide more details if required.

  14. User Defined Order of Allocated Areas for RMS Online

    To have a site list just for Online so you can change the order in which sites get booked rather than the numerical default of the system list which is normally numerical (same as booking chart). This would allow you to better serve customer by booking best sites first similar if they had rung

  15. Allow rooms to be sold as 'double/twin' with guests needing to confirm their bedding choice

    I would like to be able to sell a room which is configurable as a double or twin, and force the guest to choose their bedding configuration as part of the booking process.

  16. Ability to Customise RMS Internet Booking Engine Confirmation Page Text

    Make the Online Booking Engine confirmation header text customizable.

    Currently this area pulls the Guest Name, Arrival Date and Online Confirmation No fields, but puts them into text that does not align with our reservation and deposit policies. Now it says:

    Thanks <Given> <Surname>,
    We look forward to welcoming you at <Property Name>, on
    <Arr Date>. Your Booking Confirmation ID is <Online Conf No>
    Thank you for booking with us.

    We would like to be able to change the default text to terms & phrases that we use...

    For instance "your booking confirmation ID" becomes "your booking reference number", etc.

  18. Update Housekeepers Report to Include Previous Reservation Options for Hold Over Departure Cleans

    If have any hold over rooms, the report removes the length of stay from these rooms. it keeps the guest name and date of departure but not how many nights the room was occupied. Can we please include the length of stay for hold over departure rooms? Thanks

  19. Void Charge when Remove Requirement from a Reservation

    Some of our requirements are attached to sundry charges so when we add them into a booking, the attached sundry charges will also be auto-posted in the guest account.
    However this is not the case with removal of requirements. When we remove a requirement from the "Requirements" section in a booking, the related sundry charge will still stay in the guest account. We have to go back to the account and manually remove the sundry charge which is very tedious. Please can we have this enhanced so that any removal of requirements will also auto-remove the attached sundry charge from…

  20. Be able to run a report on future promotions booked

    Currently I can only see what booked promotions are in-house or in the past. I'd like to see how many I have booked in the future. It is imperative to be able to see how a campaign is performing prior to completion. Currently I'm running a new promotion spanning out 6 months. I have no idea if I have booked any until they have departed. Difficult to report on to ownership, marketing team etc
