Additional Triggered Correspondence Options
Triggered correspondence is great but I think anyone using it would benefit from having more send options. For example, I want all reservations to receive an email reminder five days prior to arrival. If I use triggered correspondence for that, anyone who makes a reservation with less than five days to arrival receives my reminder. This is really awkward when I have a walk in guest and RMS sends them an arrival reminder.

Having the ability to setup triggered correspondence based on reservation type, such as quote, confirmed, unconfirmed etc would greatly assist streamlining operations.
yes, more options are essential. eg at a certain time (for late checkouts, anyone not checked out by 10.30am gets a reminder); or x amount of days prior to a booking. Even things like if they have pets or kids we can send triggered correspondence so that they get a tailored letter would be fab.
Would like the ability to setup triggered responses for electric meter reading bill due from the guest when it is processed. This now goes to extras when submitted. If we have guest charge to their extras for merchandise from our store then this would have an electric bill and other amounts together. We need an option to send just the electric meter reading.
Please help with this upgrade soon.

Booking.com blocks PDF files (including invoices and receipts) being sent to their mail portal ... so being able to set triggered correspondence types based on different sources would be useful and save time.
The Ability to send different triggered correspondence to different target markets. A reservation receives TC A as they have children in the reservation, Reservation B (no children) receives TC B.

Allow EDM campaigns to be built and scheduled to be sent automatically. Some of the automatic triggers we would use are:
1. At specific time on day of reservation departure.
2. Specific # of months since last stay.
3. Specific # of Months since first EDM campaign sent.
The ability to send triggered correspondence is a huge benefit but I need more options to customise how it is triggered. Boolean style rules as we have seen in other areas would be great. I use to trigger balance reminders/chasers but customers receive this as soon as I create/save the booking & move to the payment screen. Having the option the say only send on save/exit, only send once or if not received before & only send if account is in debit NOT credit would be hugely advantageous.
I have a recommendation for a new rule option for triggered correspondence –
We send out a “30 day balance due” TC email for all with booking source Echuca Holiday Homes. Two things are happening which could be avoided:
1. If a new booking is taken >30 days from arrival the email is automatically sent despite a customer having paid in full and having no outstanding balance.
2. Guests who pay the full amount of their stay up front and <30 days from arrival are also receiving the “30 day balance” due email”
Can a new rule be created which should cover both scenarios:
• If a booking has “0” outstanding balance then do not send email.
We want to send SMS on creation of booking to notify us of any last minute bookings but only for same day bookings or want to send an email to guests but not if it is a same day booking so we would like an additional date filter on how many days out the booking is made
Yes, this would also help us greatly when emailing out T&C etc
Sending triggered correspondence to all reservations in a group opposed to just the group master
It would be great if triggered responses could be sent out with payments eg: when a deposit is paid then when the balance is paid.
Just looking at your new Triggered Response section. I have set up requirements for inspections of properties and would like to have a triggered response that would link to the dates entered in for their next inspection. As far as I can see you can only choose to send out dates that are linked to the arrival or departure dates. Can they be linked to the Inspection Date set out in the requirements list?

It would be great if there was a way to tell the guest their room is ready ie if the room is marked clean then it is ready for check in. then if guests want to check in early they know they can.
At the moment when you receive an email from RMS the sender says info only (as the email it comes from is info@). I would like the sender to be changed to our business name, or something I choose.
Could triggered correspondence have more options for sending such as emails only sent to arrivals which are confirmed. As currently cannot set up triggered correspondence for arrivals as emails would also get sent to provisional booking.

This way we could set up automatic overdue invoice and reminder letters

Triggered Correspondence is great,but we should be able to send it after a certain time of an invoice due date.
This would greatly enhance the account side of RMS

I agree... "walk-in guests" are a different animal from reservation and needs to be treated differently in reservation status, deposits, correspondence, ... especially in RV Parks where the walk-in was an overnighter that came in late last night and left early this morning. Just need to check him in, take his money, and check him out...
