Gift Vouchers - Sell & Manage in RMS

I've just been spekaing with RMS support and found that currently RMS cannot handle the sale of vouchers online (and no plans with future RMS 9+ rollouts at the moment).

We would like to be able to sell gift vouchers through our website for either a client nominated value, or a value set by us for sale ($50, $100 etc)

The purchaser can nominate the name of the person who they will be giving it to so that the voucher details & any monies held for the voucher value can be in the client account of the guest, and then redeemed once they book.

We currently have a very manual old-school way of selling vouchers and then redeeming the for a guest...there must be a better way in this day & age.

    I currently do vouchers by creating a dummy booking adding the charge and payment in the sundries, transfering the credit to the client account and then sending the Voucher as correspondence. If I could avoid the dummy booking part then this would be better. Would be good to add to website too also.

    With consumers increasingly shopping across multiple channels, is your gift card selection easily discoverable across your website, mobile website, https://kabukimask.com/, and mobile app? Consumers don't want to have to search a website aimlessly to find them. Instead, prominently feature your gift cards on all your channels

    GIFT VOUCHERS - I would like to capture client details (and their card details) without the client having to make a booking... through a (BookNowBotton kind of link) so we can incorporate the "voucher' link into advertisement and promote "GIFT VOUCHERS" through marketing and social media etc.. I hope we can get this up and running sooner than later. Thanks

    We would be interested in having the capability to sell gift vouchers online through RMS via our website. Also, when the guest is booking a stay it is important to be able to redeem the voucher as payment.

    Just adding my two cents. If it's easier, even an integration with a platform like Voucher Cart https://vouchercart.com/hotel-gift-cards/ would be fantastic. If customer's could purchase gift cards through IBE and then have integrated tracking between RMS and VoucherCart or another platform it would be perfect.

    indeed please... would adore this component. It's bulky to acknowledge instalment, 'park it' and afterwards discover it once more.

    You should be able to "discount" a gift certificate. If you run a 10% off special on gift cards, the user would pay $90 for a face value $100 gift.

    Over 3 years in the "suggestion" box more appropriately known as parked ideas box ... 18 months ago I gave up and went outside of RMS. I have added Gift voucher functionality to my website (sadly not through RMS). The system works well, multiple options, order online, pay online, cash back automated, response and gift voucher automated, voucher tracking online. I use Robovoucher a NZ based group. No complaints

    Customers need to be able purchase online, pay online using payment gateway and redeem online. NO action or feedback on this matter after more than a year. Is anyone listening????
