Additional EDM Filer
This is a request for another EDM Filter in RMS please. When booking holiday guests in RMS because we have a business relationship with these guests, they are automatically opted in to marketing under the soft opt in. They then contact us if they would like to opt out of all marketing, or just marketing by email, post or telephone. We would also like to marketing holiday home ownership to our holiday guests and therefore because this is a different to holidays, under the new regulations we have to get their specific consent to marketing holiday home sales to our holiday lettings guests. Therefore we would like another EDM Filter to record the consent for this type of marketing when taking sales over the phone and on our website. We will need to be able to pull client data from RMS based on the different marketing opt ins. For example, we need to be able to pull all guest records for all of the parks who have opted in for marketing, for those that have only opted in to post, those that have only opted in to direct mail, those that want to hear from us by phone and now for those that have opted to hear from us about holiday homes. Please can you let me know if the EDM Filter is the best way to capture the consent of our guests to market holiday homes to them via the phone and our website and then let me know a timeframe for implementing this. Thank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to custom label and use 3 additional EDM Filters for managing marketing preferences.
To change the labels go to Setup > Property Options > Labels.
To display these on Guest Details, go to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance.
