Option for owner to provided updated insurance details & upload new CoC in portal
Just wondering if it's possible as a future enhancement that owners can update their insurance details (expiry date, insurance provider etc) which would fill to the matching fields in their RMS clients?
And it would be great it they could upload the CoC document also, which then records onto their correspondence tab.
Or, have the ability for trigger setup to send an insurance reminder document (we currently do all this manually), with the trigger able to read the date of insurance expiry in the owner client record and fire based upon that date (for example, send 7 days prior to the policy expiry date field).
Currently we have to run a report through report writer to get all the data collated, which is then filtered to work through and sort by the expiry date field, then go into each owner record and manually send the insurance reminder document. And then receive that by email and upload into owner correspondence and update the insurance expiry field.
The ideal solution to this manual process is either:
1) a trigger that can read owner/client records fields and fire an action to send a form letter based on the insurance expiry field being past or 7 days prior ; or
2) the ability for the portal to have those fields updated and the CoC upload.
