Improve Notification System for Task & Reservation Updates
I would like to have a more advanced notification system within RMS that alerts users in real-time when there are updates to reservations, tasks, or guest information. This could include customizable notifications such as pop-ups, email alerts, or in-system messages depending on user roles.
For example, when a reservation is modified, cancelled, or updated by another staff member, the relevant users should immediately receive a notification. Similarly, tasks assigned to team members should trigger reminders until they are completed.
So that I can improve team communication, reduce errors caused by missed updates, and ensure smoother daily operations-especially in busy environments where multiple staff members are working on the same reservations.
Additionally, having the ability to filter and prioritize notifications (e.g., urgent vs non-urgent) would greatly enhance usability and efficiency.
