Add Reservation Activity Timeline to Quickly Track Booking Changes
As a property manager, I often need to investigate why a reservation's details have changed, especially when dealing with guest disputes, staff mistakes, or unexpected rate differences.
Currently, finding this information can require checking multiple areas of RMS, which takes time when handling a busy front desk or responding to guest inquiries.
It would be extremely helpful to have a dedicated Reservation Activity Timeline that clearly displays all key actions in chronological order, including:
Reservation creation date and user
Rate changes
Room changes
Guest detail updates
Payment additions or refunds
Check-in and check-out modifications
Channel updates
Cancellation and reinstatement history
Having all reservation activity visible in one place would make troubleshooting much faster, improve staff accountability, and reduce the time spent investigating booking issues.
This feature would be particularly valuable for properties with multiple staff members managing reservations throughout the day.
