RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

For assistance with using RMS visit the RMS Help Centre or go to Help > Service Requests in RMS and log a new Service Request.

  1. Cancelation email-listing property name

    A cancelation comes through. The email notification has no property name on it, only booking reference number and source of booking. We have to go into reservation (we are not always in office so accessing on iPhone is very limited anyway) to find property then cancel other sites they do not connect to RMS.

    Currently available from the RMS Channel Manager, cancellation emails will include the Property Name in the subject line of the email for easier identification.

  2. I would like the option to stop sell at certain at certain timeframes

    Due to COVID-19, operating business hours have decreased, therefore staff on-site is limited. The only option we've found is to stop sell manually every day to prevent bookings from coming through after staffed hours.

    Currently available in RMS is the ability to set a ‘Release Back Time’ which will close inventory for the current day once the time is reached.

    This option can be used to stop same day arrival reservations being created after the office has closed.

    Currently available in RMS when using the RMS Channel Manager is the ability to set a Booking Source to populate on reservations delivered or retrieved from connected channels.

  4. I would like a function to round-up dynamic pricing

    Dynamic pricing often results in rates with odd cents, it would be good if the dynamic rates could be rounded-up to the nearest dollar. I believe that there is a "round-up" function in set-up, but this works globally and also effects rates for bookings coming from ota's etc. so cannot be used??

    Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to set Rates to Round to the Nearest Dollar. This option will ensure that any Derived Rate Adjustments or Dynamic Pricing Adjustments that would result in a decimal value are rounded.

    Using this option ensures that Rates in RMS are whole dollar amounts and will result in the rounded values being sent to any connected channels. This rounding applies to the Base Rate in RMS leaving any adjustments on a reservation from Discounts or Travel Agent Commissions as required.

  5. Please add OTA Hotel Bonanza to Channel manager.

    Currently available for connection in the RMS Channel Manager is Hotel Bonanza. This can be setup in RMS 9+ by going to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management and viewing the ‘Unconnected Channels’ section.
