Pop-Up Alert to User When Multiple Users Editing the Same Reservation
A pop-up alert would be helpful when multiple users (one reservation member, and another at reception for instance) are updating the reservation.
Otherwise, both of them assume they update the date, but it is not the case with no data saved..

A while ago RMS would show a pop-up when another user was in a reservation, which was a fantastic option when we have multiple users & communication coming through multiple platforms.
In recent time, we've had some instances when notes have disappeared, but then discovered another user was in the reservation, while the 2nd user perhaps took a call & put in notes saving the booking; then the 1st person clicks save and whatever the 2nd person did is deleted from the res notes. In this case, the audit trail shows that the 1st user deleted the 2nd user notes as it shows under' old note', but is replaced by the 1st users notes only.
Having the pop-alert function to show another person is in the reservation would be the best way to ensure that all res notes entered remain, and are not deleted when 2 users may be in a reservation.
In these times when users may not be in the same location (work from home vs in office environment), being able to tell if someone is in a reservation would reduce any chance of double-up or missed information.
We've been users of RMS for a number of years, and this functionality would be an excellent enhancement to the existing software.

Have a pop up window display when another user is already in a reservation so that we aren't trying to change a reservation at the same time.

When changing a booking, show an alert that tells you if another staff member is also changing the same booking so that correct details are saved.

I like this feature although I would prefer to take it one step further and block someone from making a change if someone else is already in the booking.. So it would allow someone to "View/read only" until the first person finished in the reservation and then exited out...

Can there be a flag, that when another user is already in a reservation something comes up on the screen to advise of this?
I realise that there is a security alert only when you try to save the booking (if someone else is in the same booking) in RMS 9, but when opening the reservation would be best.
