RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

For assistance with using RMS visit the RMS Help Centre or go to Help > Service Requests in RMS and log a new Service Request.

  1. Gift Vouchers - Sell & Manage in RMS

    I've just been spekaing with RMS support and found that currently RMS cannot handle the sale of vouchers online (and no plans with future RMS 9+ rollouts at the moment).

    We would like to be able to sell gift vouchers through our website for either a client nominated value, or a value set by us for sale ($50, $100 etc)

    The purchaser can nominate the name of the person who they will be giving it to so that the voucher details & any monies held for the voucher value can be in the client account of the guest, and then…

  2. POS Lite Receipts Customisation

    Currently, the POS Lite receipts are not customisable and they print the same Terms and Conditions as a normal receipt related to a booking payment. Ts and Cs for POS sales are not required as these are typically cash sales that are not sent to a reservation.

    Customers ask for Tax invoices from time to time.

    1. POS Lite receipts should be a different layout
    2. Need to be able to print "tax invoice" with GST properly handled.

  3. Quick stock control invoice entry

    We would like to have the ability to do a stock receipt from invoice on a single form, adding lines and then posting rather than having to find each item manually and add doing the receipt on an item by item basis

    SMS 2 way having an automatic reply trigger for after hours. For example, Front Office is closed from 4p-7a, during that time if a guest texts the number, they receive an automatic reply stating what the property would like to let the guest know. Example, "Thank you for reaching out to us. Our office is currently closed but for any emergencies or immediate needs, please call XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank you!" Also, being able to hyperlink property website and TripAdvisor links into text messages.

  5. Bank Reconciliation New Screen - When you set a filter and transaction type to check transactions, it is lost when moving screens -

    When working on the Bank Reconciliation Screen and you have set to All Tranasctions for this month and you move to Payments and want to view the same filtered transactions, it is lost between screens and you have to go and reset to the same filters. Likewise with the Adjustments screen. I use this function a lot as I need these filters on when I am checking and finding errors for the individual properties as I operate on the enterprise database.
