Ability to allocate routing on rooms prior to guest check in for accomm and incidentals
If anyone has used Opera they will know how good the routing function is. It would save so much time operationally if we could automatically route certain charges to certain rooms.

Ability to store a 2nd credit card
Ability to store a second credit card in the guest profile screen for incidentals.

The ability to create multiple Credit Card Tokens against a Guest Profile, Company or Travel Agent is an existing feature of RMS 9+.

Can we have customised wording when tax invoices are sent out via email;?
Perhaps, please see attached tax invoice, we hope you enjoy your stay, review us on www.. etc etc

Ability to set up fortnightly Repeat Reservation
We have workers who are on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster allocated to permanent rooms. At the moment I have go in each month & copy the reservation for the next few swings. Repeat Reservation currently has the option to set up a frequency of daily, weekly or monthly but not fortnightly. Having this option would be a great time saver!

Currently available via the Repeat Reservation feature is the ability to setup recurring reservations at any required frequency.
The example of repeating fortnightly can be achieved by selecting ‘Every’ ‘Second’ ‘Week’ and is outlined in the below Help Centre article.

2 way SMS - virtual mobile number to show Company Name
We have just switched over to 2 way sms and had expected the recipients of our txts to see our company name rather than the random +61 mobile number. So they can see who the message is coming from rather than thinking it a random spam. This is a service commonly used by many companies that send out txts to their clients or database. Apparently RMS 9+ doesn't currently have this functionality?

Can you please change or remove the large RMS pop up window flagging the training website, as an option can we customise this for our staff
We have been seeing the large training window on opening RMS for awhile now. Would be great to change or customise for staff. Thanks

Currently available in RMS is the ability to add or remove a custom Startup Image. In doing so, the RMS image with information on important features will show for users once per day.
The current startup image for RMS is regarding the new Help Centre and is running until all customers are comfortable with the changeover from the previous Knowledge Base which is being retired.

Restrict Access to RMS by IP Address
It would be a nice security feature if we could limit the IP addresses people can use to login to RMS. We had an employee download guest details from their home recently.

I would like a yes no field for electronic notice consent so that I can easily see who has agreed to receive notices electronically.
As you are possibly aware, as of 1st July 2019 we can ask our Park Residents to sign an ‘Electronic Notice Consent’ so that we may send any notices electronically. There does not seem to be a field in RMS where we can record ‘Electronic Notice Consent Yes or No’. We were wondering if there was an ‘Electronic Notice Consent’ field in RMS (can’t see one) or if RMS would be able to make a field for this? EN Consent? Then we could run a report to excel and have a current list any time we need to send bulk…

Introduced alongside GDPR in 2018 and currently available in all versions of RMS 9+ is the ability to define customised Yes/No filters for marketing or communication purposes against Guest Profiles.

Thank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Currently available in RMS 9+, Triggered Correspondence can be setup to send at the time of Reservation Confirmation.
When a Receipt is applied to the Reservation Account RMS will change the Reservation Status to ‘Confirmed’ which will then trigger this letter or SMS to be sent based on the options selected in setup.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the available to set the Text and Colour options on the Booking Chart.

Credit Transfer
Be able to transfer a credit balance to another account at anytime (not have to wait until check in/arrival date).

Edit the Base rate based on a nightly rate as opposed to the total base rate
When editing the base rate in a reservation it would be good to be able to put in the nightly rate you want to charge/change and calculate the total base rate. As opposed to putting in the total then that being divided up over the reservations nights.

The Base Rate override matches the Property’s selection to use Total Rate or Nightly Rate for overriding purposes. However, by selecting Total Rate and viewing the Total Rate Breakdown you can override individual nights or per night as required.

"Requirements" to automatically be added to form letters. I.e a booking letter.
We use RMS at our Caravan park. It would be so useful if the "requirements" section would be automatically be transferred to a form letter. for example - If a guest in requiring addition linen, additional linen has a fee, If we send a "booking" letter it calculates tariffs, deposits etc but if there are any requirements (with or with out a charge required) we have to manually add it to our booking letter before sending. which can be easily forgotten and a bit of a pain if forgotten.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to add merge fields to form letters that can populate Requirements from the reservation into the merged letter. There are a number of merge fields available depending on the information you would like to include in your letter.

Can clients be set up as blacklisted WITHOUT staying at site?
It would be fantastic to be able to set up clients as blacklisted without them being guests. We get quite a few notifications from other parks about problematic guests (*eg slaughtered a pig in the camp kitchen at midnight!!), we don't always have much info (sometimes only a rego number) so it would be FANTASTIC to be able to setup a blacklist with very minimal information.

To setup a reported person in RMS straight onto the Blacklist without a corresponding reservation, add a new Guest Profile from the Guest Search screen.
When adding the Guest, provide as much information as you have received in the fields, including the Car Registration, any names etc then mark them onto the blacklist.
This info will come up when using the Smart Search to add a Reservation, enabling staff to identify this person as a no-go guest.

RV/Campgroud Resort - Would like to have the ability use Scan ID in the United States.
Would like to have the ability use Scan ID under the Guest # in the United States. Would like to scan drivers license, military id, AAA, Good Sams/discounts cards and etc...
This enhancement would be a great benefit.

Allow multiple edits to Allotments in Travel Agents

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to setup multiple allotments against a Travel Agent and can be Property specific if working in an Enterprise version. When editing, all the same options are available for selection same as when first creating the allotment.

Email Statement Button when processing meters
An Email Statement button (like the print statements button) when processing meters would be amazing!

Ability to do a credit card pre-authorization without checking in the guest.
We would like to check the validity of credit cards before the guest arrives, without actually charging the card.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to perform a pre-authorization when connected with a compatible Payment Gateway.
The Pre-Auth Token button will appear on the Guest’s Reservation 1 Day prior to arrival and can be created without the need to check the reservation in.

REPLACE token "description" field with "cardholder name"
When you open a token it displays a "description" field which seems to serve no purpose. It would be much more useful to replace that field with "cardholder name" so you could view at quick glance instead of having to open each token to view name.

The ‘Description’ field for Token creation is required to be available to allow customers to quickly identify between multiple available tokens. For your scenario we would recommend entering the Card Holder Name as the Token Description if thats how you would want to identify the tokens.
