******Rate Parity Adjustment on Tariff Manager******
A function when setting up channels that allows a percentage to be applied to OTA channels to increase their price vs own price. Example would be when setting up the channel with Booking.com, you could set the rate parity adjustment to 1.1 which would increase the pricing of all booking.com prices 10% above the BAR rate. This method is available on other channel managers and saves all the extra work involved if trying to do this using the current methods.

The quickest way to do this is to setup a derived rate and map that to the channel. Eg if you want BDC 10% higher- setup a derived rate 10% higher and map the derived rate to the channel instead.

This is a much desired enhancement. Only last week I wanted to increase a channel by adding an extra amount across the entire channel for all room types. This ended up a huge task to manually add new rates. Now if I adjust our base/rack rate at any time in the future I will need to also adjust any other channel that has an increased or decreased tariff. Other channel managers have this option. RMS is behind by not having this as an option.

I posted this in 2018! Surely it's time to upgrade the channel manager and implement this? How many users are wasting time manually setting different pricing to the OTA's????

Please review this RMS!!! For those of us who set a different rate compared to our own channel for the 2 major channels - Booking.com and Expedia, the amount of work involved to set the differing prices is EXTREMELY time consuming! Yes this could be done with a seperate room category for OTA's but this would mean a whole more room categories etc.

I agree, how good would it be to have the functionality of the "Rate Override" for "Rate Adjustments", easy to manage with huge flexibility.

The current method of implementing different rates for different channels is extremely time consuming! Please RMS.....move with the times and implement a change as suggested above!
