Currently available on reports in RMS 9+ is the ability to specify the sort order. For the Reservation Reports such as Arrival & Departure List this includes by Arrive or Depart Date.
These can also be scheduled with the preferred build options to skip users selecting options and manually building the reports each day.

Improve Housekeeping Clean screen
Could we have the ability for option to print Housekeeping Clean Screen in numerical order? It's a big issue for the boss when they come to do property inspections and find everything grouped in room types for 3 floors instead of room number order.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to print the Housekeeping Clean Screen using the display order set by the user.

Report Batches
It would be great to have a feature to build a batch of reports that's able to be generated on demand rather than at a scheduled time (generate multiple reports in one click).
eg at the end of the day, rather than running 10 or so individual reports for printing, we can custom build a batch by selecting the required reports and, when the batch is generated, it prints or emails those as appropriate.

Thank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Scheduled Reports was originally implemented to resolve this exact issue as each Report comes with its own unique set of build options.
Setting these 10 reports up as Scheduled Reports and then printing from the PDF received if required will allow you to set each report’s build options as required and avoid the manual process of building each report yourself at the end of the day.

Add Country to statistical reporting
Please add by country as an option when pulling statistical - Occupancy reporting - it would be great to be easily see where our forward bookings are coming from.
Also any future border closures can see what is our risk

Currently available on the Marketing Report in all versions of RMS is the ability to group data by Country and/or Nationality using the selection made on the Guest Details.
The Marketing Report is an interactive report that includes a targeted breakdown of Operational Revenue and statistics for the selected date range and can be used to track performance and average rates for specific Companies, Travel Agents, Rate Types or Booking Sources.

HOUSEKEEPERS REPORT
Add a simple option to have auto-reporting for Tasks - such as mid-stay cleans at required parameters - FOR ALL stays. Currently only applies to short stays

Currently available in RMS is the ability to setup Housekeeping Tasks on a Property, Category, Area, Rate Type or Derived Rate Type. A review of the Housekeeping Task setup for the Category or Rate Type used for Long Term Reservations may identify why they are not appearing on the Housekeepers Report.
Alternatively if the Housekeepers Report is setup as a Scheduled Report the build parameters may be excluding the Long Term Reservations and can be updated to include them or a separate Long Stay schedule setup instead.

Single report showing list of all arrivals, departures and mid-stay for a range of dates
All PMS that I have used to date (Hirum, REI Master, Puma, Resly) have a report that gives a full overview of everything that is happening on a day, and can be generated for a range of dates.
We give this report for the next week to our housekeeping supervisor who uses it to generate staffing forecasts. It includes all notes and info regarding the bookings so that we can see if a room is locked down or needs extra work, we can see if a room is back to back or just a departure with no arrival.

Currently available in all versions of RMS is the Arrival/Departure/Stayover Forecast Report which can be generated for a date range and will provide an overview of all Arrivals, Departures and Stayovers for each date within the selected date range.
Go to Reports > Daily > Arr Dep SO Forecast in RMS to use this report and let us know if there is any further information you would like to see included on this report in the future.

Reservations Made/Modified Report
Because Quest properties are now paperless, I would like to be able to check bookings made the day before by reception staff members.
Can a report be made just to check the details of a booking made by users each day. This would help in keeping all reservations streamline and making sure that they are correctly inputted before the guests arrive.

The Reservations Made/Modified Report can be used to report on all reservations made or updated by a user for the selected date range.

In addition to this report for auditing changes made to reservations by a user it is also possible to set fields as mandatory on the reservation to enforce data entry by a user for the required fields before a reservation can be saved.

better reports
RMS reporting is lackluster compared to other platforms. Why can't I run a simple occupancy report for the year and see the occupancy by month? If I hadn't already had three properties with RMS, I would have switched to Resnexus simply for their reports. I think Campground master might even have better reports. I have 5 properties with RMS and I can't believe I can run a report for 2020 that has each month of occupancy and/or revenue.

Currently available in all versions of RMS is the Occupancy & Revenue Comparison Report including a Monthly, Weekly or Category breakdown and the ability to group by Property or Travel Agent.
The Occupancy & Revenue Comparison Report is an interactive Operational Revenue report providing a breakdown and comparison of statistics and operational revenue year on year for the selected date range.

Add a date range option to the housekeepers report so you can notify staff of assigned cleans in advance
We have cleaning contractors not an inhouse cleaning team. Consequently cleaners need to know when they have work on in advance. Currently the housekeepers report only allows to see the cleans for 1 date which is useless. Everything is there for it to be a fantastic facility but the thing missing is a date RANGE option. With a date range you can then select the housekeeper assigned to the area and notify them in advance all their cleans in advance for say a month or 2 in advance and then schedule it as a report.

I would like more standardised reporting options so that I can better understand where my business is coming from.
You currently have standard reports that will provide performance data by company & travel agent. It would be good if there were options for this type of reporting that pull from market segments and booking source fields.

Customize Report Output Fields
With report writer. Instead of just building a report. You should also be able to select what fields you want in the report. Currently output fields are locked and not able to be customize by user.

Currently available in RMS using the Report Writer utility is the ability to determine which fields are exported in the generated report.
Report Writer is a two stage process with the first stage allowing users to determine fields to search and what criteria will qualify as a match. The second stage is selecting what information (which fields) should be included on the exported report.

A flag / follow up / traces function
Attach a follow up note / task to be completed to a reservation for a specific date or dates, that can be accessed via a report or by looking on the reservation. This function is called traces or flags in other PMS.
E.g. Guest has left bags in storage from previous stay, deliver to room before arrival.
Guest has paid only half of accommodation due to daily spending limit on CC. Collect remainder of payment today.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to add Requirements, including adhoc requirements to a reservation and monitor the completion of these.
Requirements on reservations can be viewed on the To Do Chart or via the Requirements Report and be used for any reminders or follow-ups required for a guest or reservation in RMS.

Export the booking chart to excel
I would like to be able to export the booking chart to enable me to see the low booked areas withing management meetings.

For your scenario you may prefer the Pace Report to have a visual overview of nights sold and revenue across a wide date range in graph form.

I would like to run the cash transactions report as an Excel or csv file
I would like to be able to run the Cash Transactions report as an Excel or CSV file so as to import the date into other charts we are using for bookkeeping.

A report of Repeat Charges currently in place
I would like a report of Repeat Charges currently in place. This would allow us to audit to make sure the charges have been added to guests accounts for future charges. We are an RV resort with annual reservations. We bill cable and washer charges to guests coming back for the season and the procedure is to set up the Repeat Charge when they return in the fall. Automatically generate and email statements for AR accounts to save time.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the Management > Reservations > Made / Modified report which can be generated for a date range and Grouped By User, using the default option of ‘New Reservation’ to only show newly created reservations.
When building in this way a total will be shown under each User’s list of reservations made.

Add options to filter room types for ARR DEP SO forecast
As we are a strata hotel I need an option to filter out room types to remove permanent resident and live on staff. Currently not having that filter I can not get a true number. Without having that option I have to pull many reports for arrivals, departures and inhouse guests.

Currently available in RMS 9+ on the Arr Dep SO Forecast Report is the ability to filter by Area Stats On or Off.
It is recommended for multiple areas in RMS to turn Area Stats Off for any Staff or Permanent accommodations you do not wish to include in statistics.
