RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Add Traces - Like Opera

    Traces / follow up on bookings for the res team

    Adding the option to report on Requirments for cancelled bookings.

    We use requirements as a way of chasing up anything required for a booking (like traces in Opera). As only a small team handle refunds, we would like to be able to add a requirement for a refund to be processed but at the moment, we are unable to report on cancelled bookings. We have no other way to easily bulk refund (there could be 10,000 refunds coming up with double vaccination stauts required)

  2. Simplified Replace Guest Tool for Group Reservations

    Currently, when adding guest names to room numbers as part of a group, we can use either the Quick Add, Replace Guest, or set primary methods to change from the original names on the group res.
    The Quick add method is great, love it. However, we still need to delete each of the original names in the group res (usually the booker's name or the group name).
    Suggestion:
    Have tick boxes next to each name so users can simply tick the old names to be deleted at one go, rather than having to delete them individually.

    Customise Booking Chart Data Window

    We require Data Window Booking Chart to display client email address as an option when reservation is hovered over. As the available fields are hard coded, we have been advised we cannot modify the available fields.

  4. Ability to Move Add On Reservations on the Booking Chart

    Add on - Car Parking drag and move bookings on add on chart.
    Currently you need to click on the booking to move a booking to another empty bay, than click on add in and change the bay. Would also like to be able to reserve a bay for a booking that might extend. Currently the only way is to do this is to may the bay "Öut of Order" (purple).Description of why bay is "Öut of Order" does not show. Unless you click on it and open it.

  5. Setup SMS Templates Per Property (Same as Form Letters)

    We are an enterprise database and want our users only to see their own correspondence. Currently when a new SMS is created it attaches to all security profiles and there is no option to opt in or out of that. (which you can do with form letters/correspondence)

  6. Option to Delete Tokens on the Receipt Screen

    It would be more convenient and effiecient to be able to delete an old token whilst receipting in the Accomm Account

    Whilst receipting in Accom acc and choosing existing token but token has now been replaced by the customer, it would be very convenient to be able to delete token straight away rather than trying to remember afterwards one finished receipting or having to go out of receipting to delete token. It would be alot more secure and efficient to be able to do it whilst receipting

  7. Spotlight on Reservations with a Requirement on the Booking Chart

    I would like a symbol or colour to draw attention to reservations with requirements

    You dont always open up every reservation and it is easy to miss one with a requirement. Is it possible to have something that draws attention to open the booking up and see what is booked. Maybe something as simple as a tick next to the surname or the surname field flashes something to draw attention

  8. Travel Managers

    Add the ability to setup Travel Managers and associate them to multiple Travel Agents and Online Travel Agents.

    Travel Managers need to be available as a Bill To option on the Reservation Account when their associated Travel Agent is selected.

    Would be great if Travel Manager is also added to the Payment Mode as well.

  9. Ability to see the current house availability when assigning rooms to a group allotment

    If we could see the number of rooms that are currently available at the house level then we wouldn't have to worry about over-selling a room because we added more to the allotment than we actually had in inventory at the time the allotment was set up.

  10. Receipt Comments Lookup Table

    Include a drop-down option for receipt comments

    Add a drop-down option to the comments field in the receipt function, allowing for a selection of preset comments to be added via 'Lookup Tables'.
    Comments with advice pertaining to deposits or final payments can be included, date advice regarding when final payment is due, partial payment advice for group bookings etc

  11. I would like to be able to hide tax on registration cards.

    There already is a function to hide the room rate on registration cards, but tax cannot be hidden. When we print registration cards for OTA booked reservations, we hide the room rate, but the taxable amount still shows up. Please provide a function to hide this as well.

  12. Weekly Rate with Variable Weekly Discount

    to discount a set amount for every full week stayed

    For every week booked a set discount is taken off the camping fees.

    For a 7 night stay there is a £20 discount, for a 14 night stay there is a £40 discount, for a 21 night stay there is a £60 discount etc.

    At present you have to use a tariff rate which is fine for 7, 14, or 21 night stays as it calculates correctly. But as this tariff rate is set at a weekly cost, a 16 night stay calculates at the same cost as a 21…

  13. Calculate Rate on Recorded Guest Movements

    Changes in people per booking

    Situation is that all the camp sides are having huge difficulties managing changing people in ongoing reservations. For example think of a group that has 4 people over the weekend, but than it reduces down to 2 for the remaining days they booked.

    What they are looking for is a way to have a field where you can add the amount of people per night to calculate the invoice, instead of having to split bookings into groups.

    It's a real pain point for our camp grounds.

  15. Add ID Icon to Guest Profile if Photo ID Uploaded in the Guest Portal

    Show if photo ID has been uploaded to the guest portal on a reservation

    I need to be able to see whether a guest has uploaded photo ID on a reservation, it is to many steps to click through client area and edit, how do i know if it has been uploaded without continually clicking in all the reservations and clicking on client etc.

  16. Scheduled Reports: Ability to Select a Rolling Time Frame

    There is not an option to select for e.g. current month and next 12 months OR
    This week and past 4 weeks
    This time frame is used frequently for forecasting, statistical and contingency reporting. Currently for this type of date range it needs to entered as a custom date selection and cannot be scheduled.

  17. Ability to Setup a Travel Agent Commission on the Rate Type

    Have the ability to setup a Travel Agent Commission on the Rate Type that would be applicable to all Travel Agent Reservations using that Rate Type.

    This can be used where the same commission and rates are available to all Travel Agents.


    it would be a big improvement and time saver to be able to assign travel agent commission at the rate plan level.

    Currently you have to go into every agent and specify the commission for each rate plan, this causes issues when managing travel agent commissions in system if a booking is made by a new travel agent…

  18. Option to 'Continue Session' After Auto Log-off

    Our RMS is set to auto log-off after 10 minutes of inactivity. This was due to our res agents frequently swapping between computers and using each others logins.

    Once the RMS session automatically logs out, is there an option to add "continue session"?
    Perhaps the user can re-enter their password which will allow them to continue with what they were working on? i.e. a particular booking, form letter etc.

    We love the auto log-off feature but it can be frustrating if are called away from computer for 10+ minutes and return to find everything gone once logged out.

    RNP-21027 when completed will include a number of new Triggered Correspondence options including the ability to set triggers based on the ‘Pre Check-in’ status.

  20. Add Ons with Custom Dates - Prompt User if Reservation Dates are Moved

    We have Add Ons that are added to a booking for a single date of a bookings stay (custom date). As the dates are not the default arrival and departure dates of the booking then if that booking is moved to other dates, the Add On is not moved with it nor is the User warned that there is an Add On. It would be great if a pop up message could appear if booking dates are moved 'Do you want to amend Add On dates too' and if Yes selected the Add Ons Tab is opened. This would reduce…
