Auto-relax Minimum Length of Stay
Need the ability to auto-relax the MLOS restriction within "x" days of arrival. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this as this feature is included in a lot of other PMSs that are far less robust than RMS. If I have a two night MLOS on the weekends, I want to relax that restriction three days prior as I will then take a one night reservation. Currently I have to adjust this in the rate table if I want those one-night IBE reservations.

Guest Portal Enhancements
- Display number of guests on reservation details. - Adults, Children, Infants, Other.

Guest Portal to Allow Guests to Enter Credit Card Details Securely
When using a Payment Gateway, add the ability for guests to securely enter their Credit Card details in the Guest Portal that creates a CC Token in RMS.
This would be particularly useful for reservations that originate from a Travel Agent where credit card details are not included as part of the booking process.

Pop-Up Alert to User When Multiple Users Editing the Same Reservation
A pop-up alert would be helpful when multiple users (one reservation member, and another at reception for instance) are updating the reservation.
Otherwise, both of them assume they update the date, but it is not the case with no data saved..199 votes -

Increase File Size Permissions for Online Photos
Quality photos are so important for hotels and holiday parks. Along with price and reviews, photos are one of the main deciding factors potential guests look at when deciding where to book.
We need to be able to upload higher quality photos, at least 1MB per photo, as 250KB is way too small and takes a lot of unnecessary effort to reduce the size of all our quality photos down to that size.

Void Charge when Remove Requirement from a Reservation
Some of our requirements are attached to sundry charges so when we add them into a booking, the attached sundry charges will also be auto-posted in the guest account.
However this is not the case with removal of requirements. When we remove a requirement from the "Requirements" section in a booking, the related sundry charge will still stay in the guest account. We have to go back to the account and manually remove the sundry charge which is very tedious. The wording 'Deposit Required' at online booking check out would be more suitable as "payment required"
The wording 'Deposit Required' at online booking check out would be more suitable as "payment required" as many properties require full payment. This becomes awkward and a negative reminder when referring to 'deposit '' when in fact full payment is required. Best to be positive about handing over money not reminding that elsewhere only requires a deposit.

Credit Card details should turn RED if card expires before arrival date
We often receive reservations via booking.com (and other OTAs) for a future month (say 2 months or more in advance) yet the credit card provided expires prior to the month the reservation falls in, however the credit card may not have expired at the time the reservation was made.
It would be great if RMS could highlight these in RED like other expired or invalid card numbers so that as soon as we open them for the first time it is obvious there is an issue that needs to be resolved.
Ideally, the OTA API's should allow the Channel Manager…

Digital Registration Card Upgrades
Additional options available for customisation to the Digital Registration Card:
- Customise fields displayed - Add or Remove as needed.
- Option for guest to email a PDF copy of Terms & Conditions to themselves.
- Branding options to match website, RMS IBE, Guest Portal etc.
- Ability to display selected Requirements for add on to the reservation.

We would like the colour used for "Dirty" on the clean screen to be different to the colour used for "Inspect"
The reception staff would like to be able to just refer to the colour of the dot to determine if they need to go and inspect a room or not (without having to go to the housekeeping screen). At the moment the booking chart screen doesn't allow this as the reception staff does not know if the status is "dirty" or "inspect" because the colour is the same.

Change Receipt Screen Default to No Receipt Type Selected
The user should have to enter payment method by highlighting or checking a box. An error message should appear if nothing is ticked. This is similar to c/card type now. It would save a lot of frustration at the end of day balancing. Every user will think this is a good idea as we have all made the same mistake more than once in our careers.

Ability to Set a Booking Source to Populate on Return Guests
The Bkg Source should automatically change to "A Repeat Customer" when that customer books again
This could be very helpful when we want to generate marketing reports on new business and save on booking time.

Cancellation Policy with Cancellation Fees
This would be set up like rates, you cancel within a certain period, a cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel within 14 days on a holiday "X" will be charged. If you cancel within 7 days "X" will be charged. The cancellation policy would be able to be individualized to each business and their policies. To have to have my staff manually have to go in under Sundry and place a fee won't happen. I need it to be automatic, when the cancel button is pushed.
