RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

    I would like to have names attached to credit card payments made through the guest portal, so that if multiple people are paying for accommodation, I can attach names to payments for clarity.

  2. Group Confirmation or Correspondence

    Hello! I hope you can also improve your correspondence wherein we are able to pull out or create a group confirmation for all the rooms, details, and sundries inside the group.

    E.g. there are 5 rooms with different dates, # of pax and different sundries posted per room, I wish we can populate all these details in 1 confirmation if we pull out the correspondence from the master.

  3. Improving RMS Flexibility: Beyond Simple Maximum Occupancy

    The existing RMS system has limited flexibility in terms of determining maximum occupancy. For a room type with a maximum capacity of four people, we must accommodate particular combinations such as two adults and two children or three adults. However, we cannot currently restrict combinations such as 3 adults + 1 child or 4 adults (although 4 adults Monkey Mart can be managed via rate tables).   4. Streamlining Multi-Property Management in the RMS Cloud: Seeking Best Practices

    Hello, everyone.

    I'm searching for best practices and tips for effectively managing many properties in RMS Cloud. Currently, keeping everything organized, particularly with reservations and reporting, is difficult.

    Any suggestions for streamlining these processes would be much appreciated. I'm also looking for any guidelines, courses, or Geometry Dash advanced RMS Cloud capabilities created specifically for multi-property administration.

  5. Update the Requirements screen to show a Status column

    It would be very helpful to show the Status of a requirement (e.g. Finished, Outstanding etc) as a column on the Requirements screen (both the actual requirements screen and the requirements at the bottom of a reservation). Otherwise you have to click on each requirement to open it to check it's status.

    Sync Housekeeping Requirements with Tasks

    When a housekeeping requirement is added to a reservation and appears in the housekeeping roster, it should automatically sync with the Housekeeping Tasks list. I have to manually re-enter it into the app, creating unnecessary double handling. Automating this would save time and reduce manual entry errors.

  9. I would like to add a permission for Superusers to override dates in Guest accounts to extend expiration of their credits

    Sometimes due to extenuating circumstances, we need to extend a credit amount in a guest account. If you could add an override or permission for the Superuser to extend the credit expiration dates.

  10. To be able to add a Comment to an invoice raised in the A/R payment section of RMS

    This would allow us to add comments for our Accounts team so they can seamlessly add direct payments in the correct section of RMS.

    We have a lot of group bookings that pay for their booking via invoice, so for example they pay their deposit which is entered by our accounts team into the A/R. Then the group makes a change, so we have to cancel that invoice and reissue a new one, however as it doesn’t show their amount they’ve already paid it causes confusion.

  12. Add hyperlink to SMS

    It would be great to be able to use hyperlinks in SMS messages to send customers to web pages with terms and conditions, pet policies, information for late arrivals, park maps, Chill Guy Clicker etc. 160 characters is often not enough to get the message across, and cutting and pasting tiny URLs seems so old-fashioned, both for us and the customer with a smart phone.

  13. Have guests room numers listed on the add on report

    To have guests actual room numbers listed on the add on report, not just their surnames, the reference number and the add on number. Having their actual room number is make it a much more user friendly report.

    Additional booking status which can be customised with the name of the travel agent and colour for the booking charts for confirmed bookings taken by booking agents

    We need a report that lists nationalities in descending order based on either room nights or revenue, with the ability to choose between the two options.

    Understanding nationalities is crucial for our property strategy, but the current process of manually generating a report in alphabetical order is inefficient. This method is prone to errors and consumes a significant amount of time.\

  19. Include packages in BOGO offers

    Currently if there are packages within the nightly rate, these aren't discounted as part of BOGO offers so the offer is not a true representation of the discount on offer. It would be great to have an option to do this so that these rates can be truly promoted as BOGO.
