Scheduled Reports: Ability to Select a Rolling Time Frame
There is not an option to select for e.g. current month and next 12 months OR
This week and past 4 weeks

Default "BILL TO" in Channel Management Agent setup (like in Company setup)
We would like to set a specific agent to BILL TO: AGENT as the default but there doesn't seem to be anywhere on the Channel Management setup screen to do this.
Please note that it is the agent that is located on the channel management page, not an agent that we are manually creating.
We noticed that if we create a company, there is the option to set a default BILL TO option. (in EXTRA DETAILS) This is what we are trying to replicate in the online agent setup

Highlight 'Today' on the Booking Chart in a separate colour
Different color for "TODAY" on the booking grid
Have a TODAY marker on the booking grid always appear in the same color so you always will know if you are booking for the same day.
Other systems I have used have had this feature so you don't accidentally book for a different day

Ability to Add Digital Signature to All Correspondence, Statements, Tax Invoices & Receipts etc.
In keeping with your lastest newsletter about going paperless, it would be great to be able to use the digital signature on other documents at checkout as well.
Eg: asking a guest to sign an invoice or statement as a form of authorization to charge their credit card.
This way all of the relevant documents would be stored within the reservation and accessible at any time.

Auto Allocate or Suggest Least Used Area on Reservations
Fair Distribution
Keep a financial year and monthly tally of revenue per room number and automatically suggest the room number which has the least amount to the room number that has the most amount of revenue when allocating room numbers to reservations.

Ability to Set Email Blackout Times for EDM
is it possible to set blackout times for EDM mailouts?
There does not seem to be anywhere in RMS that covers general default EDM settings for items such as blackout times.
we have received a complaint as due to the large number of recipients, the guest received EDM at 11:15pm despite the mailout having been sent out around 8pm.

Show Total Pax Count per Day on Booking Chart and/or Availability Chart
In additional to showing daily occupancy percentage totals on the Booking Chart it would be very useful to show total pax booked per day.
Knowing the number of people booked for a day it critical for our operations and is as important to us as the number of rooms booked.
In some of our properties we have close out rooms from sale if the number of pax in house exceeds a certain level, so having a value on the chart would assist us with monitoring this.
The only way we can currently track this is to run the Occupancy Report.

Add Ons with Custom Dates - Prompt User if Reservation Dates are Moved
We have Add Ons that are added to a booking for a single date of a bookings stay (custom date). As the dates are not the default arrival and departure dates of the booking then if that booking is moved to other dates, the Add On is not moved with it nor is the User warned that there is an Add On. It would be great if a pop up message could appear if booking dates are moved 'Do you want to amend Add On dates too' and if Yes selected the Add Ons Tab is opened. This would reduce…

Triggered Correspondence Action - Pre Check-in Status
The option for triggers to work on reservations with a status of pre-check-in would be useful.

Housekeeping Clean Screen - Change Colour of 'Inspect' Status to be Different to 'Dirty'

Automated Direct Debit or Credit Card Payment
I would like guests to be able to elect autopayment for recurring charges
I would like the ability for our long term guests to opt in to autopayment of their monthly charges, where they could select the date that they would like their credit card payment taken and the amount that they would like charged. This would be very convenient for guests and staff.

Move the Credit Hold Y/N button & not allow "No" without credit amount in the AR tab
Move the Credit Hold Y/N button from the Company Details tab of the Company Profile to the Accounts Receivable tab (or another separate tab) that can be locked using Security Profiles.
Anyone that creates or edits company profile information can tick this (without having accounts/finance departments follow credit check procedures), allowing guests to be invoiced after checkout without going through a credit check approval process therefore leaving the business with a high level of risk of non-approved clients having unpaid bills.

Rate Update
Rate Update - We have rates with overrides drop in on a regular basis. as we are using packages it is not a case of simply updating the base rate. In addition to this we have packages that are based on percentages, so updating the tariff on a nightly rate is laborious and takes multiple attempts to balance out. I would like to have the ability to enter the total rate amount (inclusive of packages) in the "total rate" section and have the nightly accom divided up evenly over the nights.

Attach Tax Invoices to Emailed Owner Statements
Adding invoices to Owner statements
Would be great to be able to add a PDF copy of invoices to Owner statements so they are emailed out each month rather than having to manually email them to all owners.

Traces/Follow up Function
Attach a follow up note / task to be completed to a reservation for a specific date or dates. Preferable set up to be similar to the in/out screen where you select the particular date. Also have the capability to allocate it to certain departments.
I.e Guaranteed early check in for HSK, Call guest when room is ready for FO, Follow up payment for Accounts.
This is called "traces" in the opera PMS.

Automated Quote Reservation Process
This idea is basically an extension on the triggered correspondence functionality.
A customisable workflow solution would have triggers, decision points, actions and diary events.
For example, a quote followup workflow would be ;
- trigger quote status 7 days prior to arrival date.
- automatic workflow decisions based of field values, such as quotes for a specific agent might be ignored.
- automate a correspondence
- set a followup date.
- etc
Such workflow builders are common in CRM systems. I can provide more details if required.

I would like to be able to visually represent Stop Sells in the Booking Chart
