RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

    Add Date Modified to Guest in report writer

    I am trying to update our owner database. I have a template based on guest type = owner and owned as at = todays date.

    I am able to get a list of all owners, but I can't determine when the last time their information was updated.

    I would like the field 'Date Modified' added to the report writer Guest search table.

    A section on the guest profile to have optional pronouns for guests, similar to titles mr. miss. dr. prof, etc. Optional for guests to fill out on direct bookings.

  5. EDM - import your own EDM template

    To enhance flexibility and user experience, it's currently possible to utilize and modify existing templates within the RMS's EDM module. Expanding this capability to allow the import of custom EDM templates into RMS would significantly benefit users, offering greater personalization and efficiency and branding.

  6. Credit Limit Within a Company Profile Applies To All Properties Within An Organisation

    Where a credit value has been inputted within a company profile, the limit applies as a total to the company, regardless of which property they book within the Group. In addition, the credit limit value remains, regardless of the number of invoices being generated, the total of all invoices does not exceed the total available credit.

    Example: Company A has a $5,000 limit. If they book at Property A and charges are invoiced back for $4,000, then Company A only has $1,000 remaining available for all properties, until the initial $4,000k is paid, resetting their total limit.

  7. Complete Pre-Check In for Group Reservation

    The ability for the guest in the master profile of a group reservation, to complete pre-check in on behalf of all guest whilst also showing a complete room list on the digital registration card they are signing on behalf.

    Additionally, when completed, this recorded the group has completed pre-check in and reflects on the Pre-Check In Report.

    This would be ideal for inhound groups, sporting groups or corporate groups.

  8. Weekly Arears Triggered Correspondence

    Could we please add an action on the triggered correspondence that would allow us to send an email to everyone who are behind on their weekly rent.

    We would like it to be based on the amount of weeks that they are on arears instead of the total dollar figure as the trigger point.

    In/Out Movements
    Have in the Departures section a box with the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), rather than the ETA.
    Then we can check if a late departure is arranged without having to go into each booking.

  10. Select Multiple Categories on the Internet Booking Engine Search

    I would like RMS Book now button to be able to book more than one category in the first search..

    Currently, if there is only 1 room type in the category that holds two people, and the number of people staying is 4 ADTs, the user has to add to cart and then do another search.

  12. Guest Portal - Limit guest payments to IBE

    Ability to have an option to limit only IBE reservations to make payments via the guest portal.

    Currently, if your business is paid by an OTA after departure, guests from an OTA (Booking.com or Airbnb) login to the guest portal and do make payments which then causes a refund issue.

  13. Bulk Charges Utility for Credit Notes

    Allow sundry credit notes in bulk charges

    Sundry credit notes do not appear as a selectable items in bulk charges. An error comes up when entering a negative amount in the bulk charges stipluating that the sundry item must be setup as a credit note. However, when the sundry item is setup as a credit note it is not selectible in the bulk charges options. Consumption credits will not work for my requirements because I wish to post the bulk credit notes prior to check out. Hopefully this is an easy fix in the system!!!

  14. Ability to Edit Multiple Guests on a Group Reservation Simultaneously

    Checkbox / Tickbox on the Guests Menu in a Master Reservation

    On the Rooms menu of a reservation, there is a tick box available to select a batch number of rooms to amend. Hoping that there would also be a tick box available on the Guest menu to select a batch of guests to amend.

    Being able to clean the rooms ahead of a change over and mark as clean

    Being able to clean the rooms ahead of a change over and mark as clean at that time, and when the guest is arriving doing the pre arrival check - at that point it triggers an SMS. So change the trigger form being linked to the 'clean' status to confirmation of a pre arrival check.

  18. More Options for Bond Amounts

    Create a specific price for a bond

    While a new bond feature has been rolled out, it only allows for the first night to be charged for a bond, which could be a completely random price, such as $523.33 which makes it hard to communicate to guests why the bond is that amount. It also means that the bond amount might be too low for what we would like to charge, if for example, I want to charge a $1000 bond and I am only able to charge $523.
