RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

For assistance with using RMS visit the RMS Help Centre or go to Help > Service Requests in RMS and log a new Service Request.

  1. Trigger that activates when the arrival or departure date is modified

    I think it would be beneficial to introduce a new trigger that activates when the arrival or departure date is modified.

    This way, guests can receive an updated booking confirmation if they arrive a day earlier, for example, and automatically get the new confirmation via email or SMS.

    Currently, the only option available for this functionality is clicking "save" on a booking, which can occur for various reasons. Having a specific trigger for date changes would be very useful.

  2. How can RMS improve the user experience when managing group reservations?

    RMS could enhance group reservation management by allowing batch geometry dash edits to guest details, automated group check-ins, and clearer visual organization of linked bookings in the calendar view.

  4. RMS vs Peak Voltage Confusion

    RMS (Root Mean Square) voltage represents the effective value of an AC voltage, equivalent to the DC voltage that would produce the same power in a resistive load.
    So in this case, the supply with a peak voltage of 170V has an RMS value of 120V, meaning the device is compatible and safe to use. The confusion arises because peak and RMS values are not the same fall guys online RMS is what determines actual usable power.

  5. Arrival report and true balance

    The arrival report does not give a true balance. On the account section beside Folio is shows the credit which is displayed on the report. This is not the balance due on the account. The number displayed beside it in () is the correct amount owed and is what needs to be displayed on the arrival reports.

  6. RMS Pay Transaction Activity to be included in the Reservation Audit Trail

    It would be beneficial to include RMS Pay Transaction Activity in the Audit Trail. For example when a credit card token is created, when a charge is processed, when a pre-authorisation is released; Currently there is no record of this on the reservation of guest profile audit trail.

  7. Group Confirmation or Correspondence

    Hello! I hope you can also improve your correspondence wherein we are able to pull out or create a group confirmation for all the rooms, details, and sundries inside the group.

    E.g. there are 5 rooms with different dates, # of pax and different sundries posted per room, I wish we can populate all these details in 1 confirmation if we pull out the correspondence from the master.

  8. Improving RMS Flexibility: Beyond Simple Maximum Occupancy

    The existing RMS system has limited flexibility in terms of determining maximum occupancy. For a room type with a maximum capacity of four people, we must accommodate particular combinations such as two adults and two children or three adults. However, we cannot currently restrict combinations such as 3 adults + 1 child or 4 adults (although 4 adults Monkey Mart can be managed via rate tables). The inability to prevent bookings of three adults and one child is a major issue that could lead to overbookings through online channels, and according to RMS support, there is no current remedy.     Hello, everyone.

    I'm searching for best practices and tips for effectively managing many properties in RMS Cloud. Currently, keeping everything organized, particularly with reservations and reporting, is difficult.

    Any suggestions for streamlining these processes would be much appreciated. I'm also looking for any guidelines, courses, or Geometry Dash advanced RMS Cloud capabilities created specifically for multi-property administration.

  10. Ability to Hide add ons and area class In allotment setup.

    Similar to how in the availability screen you can sort by category class, the ability to filter these in the allotment screen would be helpful as we have a number of room types, add ons and other area classes setup it can be hard work to scroll through to find and add the correct rooms into allotments when creating them

  13. a button to post sibling accommodation to the master by individual reservation

    Post sibling accommodation to the master account on an individual basis. The option is there for 'POS on master' but when wanting to post accommodaiton onto the master you can choose all or nothing. The only work around is by using charge redicrection which is onerous when dealing with multiple bookings.

    Housekeeping to be able to tick a customisable field, in this case "Minibar" so the information would show up on a report run on the day by a room number basis. This report could then be given to staff member to restock minibar efficiently by only going to the rooms that minibar is required. An advanced version of this idea would a dedicated minibar section where housekeepers could record actual minibar usage.

    I use a booking software called aluuvi in the winter. It has an awesome Clock in- Clock out interface. It would help my campground management immensely. If RMS had this feature.

  19. Percentage wise Report

    Subject: Feature Request – Daily Percentage-wise Guest Status Report by Property

    Dear RMS Cloud Team,

    I would like to request a feature enhancement to generate a daily percentage-wise report for each property (or selected properties) within the RMS system, based on guest status categories.

    Currently, our housekeeping team is manually submitting this report, but we believe that integrating it into the system would significantly improve accuracy, efficiency, and smart monitoring.
