Enable adding hyperlink to Online Property T&Cs page
Our website T&Cs page is comprehensive and includes links to policy documents. Would like to be able to include a hyperlink to our website T&Cs in the RMS T&Cs setup area.
Setup > Online Bookings > Online Options > T&C/Policies
Guests would benefit from being able to click directly through to view on our website.

Online Options setup in RMS 9+ currently includes the ability to insert basic HTML tags, including hyperlinking and basic text formatting options.
We have scheduled further enhancements to this screen to make it easier for users to use these HTML tags without having HTML knowledge.

Tariff_less_deposit command
When sending out Tentative bookings and Confirmations there is no command to have the Tariff take off the amount from the discount, only to show how much off they are getting then have the guests work it out

Triggered Correspondence needs more Action options
Could we have an additional Action added to the Triggered Correspondence please?
We need to be able to send payment reminders based on the Res - Confirmation date. If a deposit is not paid within 14 days the booking is cancelled.
We have no way of sending an automatic email to remind customers to pay on time, or an email to cancel. This all has to be done manually which is very tedious!24 votesThank you for your suggestions on ways we can improve RMS 9+.
Currently available in RMS 9+ Triggered Correspondence setup is the ability to setup a trigger for a set period of time before or after the Reservation Deposit Due Date. This option can be found under the ‘Action’ drop down menu on the Automation tab.
Additionally the option to setup Triggered Correspondence for specific Booking Sources, Categories, Companies, Rate Types and Travel Agents is available. This allows users to setup a trigger with a specific form letter or SMS template for the required Booking Sources.

Wholesaler Merge Field In Form Letter
When creating a Form Letter for a travel agent or wholesaler there does not appear to be a Wholesaler merge field to select, yet there is a Travel Agent merge field.
Considering the fact you can select Travel Agent or Wholesaler when setting up either in the Travel Agent module, it would make sense to be able to select the Wholesaler merge field when creating a form letter.1 voteThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.

Support the Cmd key!
Photo management is poorly-implemented on RMS online, with page refreshes every time you add an image, but it takes many times longer on a Mac as there is no support for the Cmd key (support for Cmd is industry standard and I have not experienced this issue on any other web service). The Ctrl key on a Mac performs a different function (right-click), so it is not possible to select multiple images for deletion. Sliding rates
We own a resort. It would be beneficial to have a setting that adjusts pricing from our base based on how days. For instance, lets say our base rate is $200. But if it is 45 days or less I would want to have my base rate have a 15% discount to try to fill those days. Then lets say when it gets to 21 days or less I would want to have an additional 15% discount. Again, the goal is to not have empty rooms. I need a way to make it easy to adjust the rates on a…

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to setup Advance Purchase & Last Minute Derived Rates.
In your scenario I would recommend setting up at least one Advanced Purchase Rate and including Dynamic Pricing by Occupancy to have those automatic fluctuations in rate to maximise occupancy.
Setting the Dynamic Pricing by Occupancy on the Base Rate to give that first discount to guests when occupancy is under a certain percentage and then adding the Advance Purchase Derived Rates to further decrease the rate for early bookers.

Send emails from property email address
Allow emails sent from within RMS to have the property email address as a sent from address? When customers reply to the noreply@rms email address they assume the property receives the reply and we have no way of knowing they responded.

The ability to email correspondence from RMS using a Property email address is available and the noreply@rms address will only be used in cases where Property Information & User Information do not have any email address setup.
To use your Property email address, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information and ensure a valid email address is saved in the ‘Email’ field.

We need a default Bill to: tab under Travel Agent just like there is under Company.
We need a default Bill To: tab under Travel Agent just like there is under Company. Then when you are setting up a TA you only need to set up the Bill To: field once so when it comes to guest check out, it is already pre-set and staff can not miss allocating it to the correct place it is meant to be sent to. Thanks :)

Currently in Setup > Accounting > Accounting Options it is possible to set the Default Bill To option as Guest, Company, Travel Agent or Wholesaler for each Account Type.

Recording of additional mobile phone numbers.
It would be helpful if you could record two mobile numbers on a reservation, so both parties are receiving the SMS messages

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to add multiple guest profiles to a reservation, each with their own contact details. By recording each guest on the reservation, multiple guests can have an SMS sent to them as needed.

Online Booking home page 'Caravan Type ' & "Caravan Length"
Online Booking home page 'Caravan Type ' & "Caravan Length" wording confuses many customers who are booking with a tent.
The issue could be rectified simply by changing to:
Caravan/Tent Type & Caravan/Tent Size
We have daily phone calls from guests who are confused by this which wastes our time and resources when RMS could be handling these bookings.1 voteThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
To update the wording seen by your prospective guests for the Caravan Type & Caravan Length fields, in RMS 9+ go to Setup > Property Options > Labels > System and update the ‘Dwelling’ system label to be ‘Caravan/Tent’ or any other label you may wish to use that is more relevant to your guests. This will then be reflected on your RMS Online Booking pages as well as throughout RMS.

7 clicks to print a tax invoice?
Issue: It takes 7 clicks to print a tax invoice in RMS 9+ under Google Chrome. It means average 20 to 35 secs (also depends on internet speed) to execute this very important function.
Suggestion: Promote "Print Invoice", "Email Invoice" to "Accomm" main functions or even upper level to Reservation window's main function keys.

Currently available in RMS 9+ is an option to enable Smart Printing. RMS Smart Printing allows users to setup preferred printers for specific print actions in RMS, allowing for quicker print job allocation to specific printers with minimal clicks.
Printing a Tax Invoice from an account can be achieved in as little as 3 clicks with Smart Printing enabled, 5 if choosing the option to Email & Print as there is an email recipient selection for sending to multiple email addresses.

In 9 the Active Window icon on the top right was very handy remind me of reservations that I had open.

Merge field into the subject line of our form letter emails eg. Res number easier to refer to the booking when guest reply.
It would make it easier to refer to a booking by Reservaton number as some guests respond with little information on their email, eg. no surnames, different email accounts etc.

Thank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Pro Forma Tax Invoices are available to be used and recreated as needed, without the need to cancel on any amendments made to the reservation.
This leaves the formal Tax Invoice to be used once on finalisation of the reservation account as designed.
Additionally you may find statements beneficial to provide if the reservation is not yet finalised.

Book Now Button to display number of rooms/apartments left for that category
This creates a sense of urgency to book, and a fear of missing out. Booking.com always does this to encourage bookings.

Group Rooming List
We need a simple group rooming list that we can hand to out to our guests. It should not have any rates on it as these may be confidential.
It just needs the name of the group on the top.
Underneath we just need GIVEN NAME, LAST NAME and in a separate column ROOM NUMBER. It should sort in LAST NAME. This is nelpful for the tour leader and the members of the group to find each other.4 votesThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.
Currently available in RMS 9+ on the Area tab is an option to generate an Area List. This works as a Group Room List and can be built to exclude displaying Rate information, be grouped by Category or sorted by Surname or Area with additional options to include bed configuration or Hide the Area.

Property Name on Owner Statements subject line.
Property Name on Owner Statements subject line.

Option to turn off the recalculate the tariff question that appears every time a reservation is edited.
There should be an option to turn off the question to recalculate the tariff every time a reservation is edited. It is very time consuming and annoying.

In RMS 9+ it is now possible to turn off the Rate Recalculation messages on the Booking Chart and in the Reservation screen, by selecting the Options button and un-ticking the option ‘Show Confirmation Messages.’
When confirmation messages are not displayed, Rate Recalculation will be defaulted to ‘Yes’ and will not prompt the user each time.

We would like less 'clicks' to print receipts or statements
at the moment it is taking 4-5 clicks to finally print in 9+ - very frustrating!!

Currently available in RMS 9+ is the ability to enable Smart Printing. With the installation of a Print Client on one computer sharing a network with printers and defining which preferred printers and paper sizes for various print functions in RMS, these printing tasks can be reduced to 2 clicks.

changing booking dates
need to be able to change booking dates ie: extend a booking by dragging it out. this feature was available and extremely handy. Now have to open the booking and change the number of nights which just creates extra clicks.

The Booking Chart in RMS 9+ includes the ability to extend or shorten reservations by simply dragging in the appropriate direction if the user has permission to edit Arrive/Depart dates of reservations.
Additional options are available on the Booking Chart in relation to moving reservations as well as how they display.
