RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. IBE Be Able to Create Bookings when a single room can't be allocated

    Currently the IBE won't complete an online booking if a room can't be allocated. This is causing us to lose bookings, or have the guest call us to complete the booking. The IBE should create unallocated reservations the same way any other connected channel does.

  2. Development and Debugging for rates, etc.

    I assume the difference between Training and Live is a database or separate tables. Being a developer for over 40 years I appreciate the development environment. The problems I have are how to get changes to the live environment. Example, we are a new customer about to go live and I have been doing extensive development with rates in the training environment. While I can sort of export these rates I see no import capability into the Live environment. If this is too big of a job then I would suggest an easy way to copy/paste a single rate at…

  4. MULTIPLE ROOM SELECTION OPTION ON RMS IBE

    ITS VERY CONFUSING FOR GUEST TO BOOK MULTIPLE ROOM THERE SHOULD BE NUMBER OF ROOM OPTION TO ADD ON ACCORDINGLY PAX , ITS VERY COMPLICATED AND DIFFICULT TO BOOK IF SOME GUEST WANT TO BOOK 2 ROOMS ONE DOUBLE OCCUPANCY AND ONE SINGLE . RIGHT NOW WITH CUTRRENT SYSTEM THEY NEED TO DO DOUBLE PROCESS ON ABOVE SITUATION .

    Please add loyalty points to a guest profile when the bill is sent to a company. EG - when a bill is AR to Groupon, the guest still needs to earn their loyalty points for the value of the stay.

    Copy favourites reports to another user

    Enable set favourite reports to be copied to another or new user when setting them up so they done have to create each time - good for property standardisation

  8. Add User Notifications for Digital Check-in

    Digital Registration

    We use an iPad for check in. On check in, we have interactive options available for the customer. Both purchases and confirmations. For the purchases part, I would like to have it notify the computer screen so the receptionist knows that they had chosen to purchase something. When it is busy, they do not always look to see if purchases were made.

  9. Notification or Flag for Signed Digital Contracts

    I would like an additional status option which highlights the reservation in another colour to indicate when an agreement has been signed

    I would like an additional status option which highlights the reservation in another colour to indicate when an agreement has been signed. Currently there is no way to run a report or visually check who has signed their annual agreement (we have thousands to check) without going to individual reservations. We would like to change the status to another colour so that we can easily view the booking chart to see who has not yet signed or alternatively…

  10. Report on Duplicate Company, Guest & Travel Agent Profiles

    Could you create a report that allows us to see duplicate profiles? It would be nice to have a report like that run monthly so we can tidy up the database when we have downtime.

    Task Management interface with products like Asana, Trello, Monday.com or Clickup to allow managing projects and tasks in the Property Management System.


    Workflows/ Task Management section that we can create jobs / projects that our staff on RMS can see and tick off when their components are complete.

  12. Add Traces - Like Opera

    Traces / follow up on bookings for the res team

    Adding the option to report on Requirments for cancelled bookings.

    We use requirements as a way of chasing up anything required for a booking (like traces in Opera). As only a small team handle refunds, we would like to be able to add a requirement for a refund to be processed but at the moment, we are unable to report on cancelled bookings. We have no other way to easily bulk refund (there could be 10,000 refunds coming up with double vaccination stauts required)

  13. Display Nightly Rate Per Reservation Date on the Quick Quote

    I would like to be able to see the rates for each night when quoting a guest

    I would like to be able to see the rates for each night when quoting a guest, sometimes the rates jump to $200.00 more on a holiday or busy weekend, I would like to let the guest know what is the average so high so they can move dates if they are flexible or just able to let them know what days the rates are higher

  14. Add a Side Scroll Bar to all Calendar Views

    A scroll bar at the bottom of the chart would be very helpful. Currently, if you hit the back arrow, it goes back 10 days which is too far. Just to be able to scroll back a few days would be great.

  15. Option to Delete Tokens on the Receipt Screen

    It would be more convenient and effiecient to be able to delete an old token whilst receipting in the Accomm Account

    Whilst receipting in Accom acc and choosing existing token but token has now been replaced by the customer, it would be very convenient to be able to delete token straight away rather than trying to remember afterwards one finished receipting or having to go out of receipting to delete token. It would be alot more secure and efficient to be able to do it whilst receipting

  16. Add Group Name to Arrival List

    The majority of our bookings are in groups and It would be helpful if the Arrival List included the guest's Group Name. There are two blank columns - ETA and Notes - one of which could be used for this purpose.

  17. Spotlight on Reservations with a Requirement on the Booking Chart

    I would like a symbol or colour to draw attention to reservations with requirements

    You dont always open up every reservation and it is easy to miss one with a requirement. Is it possible to have something that draws attention to open the booking up and see what is booked. Maybe something as simple as a tick next to the surname or the surname field flashes something to draw attention

  18. Allocate Tasks to Housekeepers Per Week or Month

    Make housekeeping usable by allowing allocation in advance for businesses who use contract cleaners

    I cant use the house keeper part of RMS as it is only suitable for businesses with an inhouse housekeeping team such as hotels, who come to work everyday.
    House keeping is a vital component in running things smoothly, and if your like me and operate holiday houses and apartments and your cleaners are contractors who need to kow there allocated cleanes well in advance this whole section of RMS becomes usless.

  19. Travel Managers

    Add the ability to setup Travel Managers and associate them to multiple Travel Agents and Online Travel Agents.

    Travel Managers need to be available as a Bill To option on the Reservation Account when their associated Travel Agent is selected.

    Would be great if Travel Manager is also added to the Payment Mode as well.
