RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. I would like PENCIL reservations not to create client profiles.

    At parks we want to be able to hold a spot on the booking chart for a limited amount of time (like pencil res), however we don't want to create a client profile as we haven't collected the persons details yet... and they haven't booked with us before. Example, Steve calls and all we know is his first name and mobile. As we have first name, surname, mobile and email as mandatory fields.. when a pencil res is made we are unable to complete the details. Can we have the ability to do a HOLD reservation, for a limited amount…

  4. Group Reservations - move last sibling

    To be able to remove the last sibling from a group and delete the group master. Sometimes a booking is placed in the wrong group and we have to cancel the booking and rebook rather than just moving it.

  5. Prevent guests receiving check in information if credit card details / bond have not been processed

    We send a TC 24 hours before arrival with home access information. If a bond has not been processed guests still receive this.

    A tickbox to choose if they receive this without a bond processed would be excellent for security reasons

    There needs to be choice to turn this feature off or send a no reply SMS to advise them.

    Guests end up receiving too many emails.

  8. Red Listed Previous Guest - No longer allowed at park - Make Guest Account Inactive

    Would like if a previous guest is Red Listed (not welcome back) for system to not let them book online. These would me already marked as red listed in system.

    This could be an option to mark their whole guest account "Inactive" my management. This way they don't get emails that are blasted out or any communications.

    Also, In/Out Screen - need to see red if someone is red listed as it is on the guest search. If you make a reservation and see it in the In/Out Movements screen it is not red. It sure would be great to…

  9. Include RV type and size on Arrival Reports.

    It would be extremely helpful to show the RV type and size on Arrival Reports, so that you could reference that report during check-ins at the gate. It would increase the level of hospitality we provide.

    In Job management it would be good if our maintenance personnel could use a portal to access there jobs when there on site from job to job, add photos and comments.

  11. times in the events module to be in quarter hour increments for more detailed timings on event order forms

  14. The IBE isnt user friendly on tablet devices

    On a tablet or IPAD or PC with less than 15" screen the next step after adding a room selection is not obvious to the user as the "Book now" or Continue button or Cart symbol is not visible unless you return to the very top of the page. According to help via a service request this is because the "banner/header" takes up too much space on the device hiding further selections. Yet on a smaller Android phone the book now stays visible while scrolling and works perfectly.

  15. Guest Portal Modification request

    Would be good for guests to be able to differentiate between Adults/children/infants when completing precheckin.

    Would also be helpful if this info automatically transferred to Guests tab.

  16. Add the Pax 920 Scanner to RMS & POSlite as compatable scanners and printers

    It is very off putting and crazy for us to chose a credit card merchant partner through RMS. Then have limited choices of the credit card readers. Pay extra for those readers and those readers not be comaptible with the RMS for barcode scanners and printers.

  18. How to fix not receiving confirmation code of Facebook?

    There are some scenarios where you will required facebook confirmation code like at the time of signing up, resetting the password of facebook and more.
    - If you are signing up for Facebook account but not receiving confirmation code on email throug facebook, then what you can do is:
    1. Check you have entered the correct email address.
    2. The mail maybe in the spam folder, so you can check your mail there.
    3. After failing to receive confirmation code on email, you can choose to send confirmation code on phone number instead of email account.

  19. Requirement Template Date setup

    When creating a requirement we currently have the option to 'include or exclude TO date' (DOD), however it would be super handy to be able to do the same with 'FROM date' (DOA), so that when added it defaults to the template settings, therefore not requiring manual adjustments.

    This would help when adding things like Complimentary Breakfast etc

  20. Quote Status Bookings Option

    Hi RMS,

    I am reaching out to you in regard to ‘Quote Status Bookings’

    Occasionally, we receive a booking that is a Quote Status Booking. These bookings are Booking.com bookings that come through RMS without a room allocation. The system can see space for the booking if we move other bookings around. The reality is that we are unable to move bookings around to accommodate the new booking. When we have received these Quote Status Bookings, it causes a great deal of panic and stress, trying to accommodate the booking.
