RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  3. Rate Update

    Rate Update - We have rates with overrides drop in on a regular basis. as we are using packages it is not a case of simply updating the base rate. In addition to this we have packages that are based on percentages, so updating the tariff on a nightly rate is laborious and takes multiple attempts to balance out. I would like to have the ability to enter the total rate amount (inclusive of packages) in the "total rate" section and have the nightly accom divided up evenly over the nights.

  4. Automated Quote Reservation Process

    This idea is basically an extension on the triggered correspondence functionality.

    A customisable workflow solution would have triggers, decision points, actions and diary events.

    For example, a quote followup workflow would be ;

    • trigger quote status 7 days prior to arrival date.
    • automatic workflow decisions based of field values, such as quotes for a specific agent might be ignored.
    • automate a correspondence
    • set a followup date.
    • etc

    Such workflow builders are common in CRM systems. I can provide more details if required.

  5. To be able to process Blind Refunds with CC Token on file

    Currently if you need to process a blind refund you have to have the full card details. 99.99% of the time they exist as a token on file but currently you can't use that token to process the blind refund. Understanding blind refunds shouldn't be the default setting for refunding people, sometimes they are inevitable, and it makes an already insecure process more insecure by having to acquire the CC information again rather than using the secure information already on file.

  7. Add Receipt Type to User Security Profile

    We have a few receipt types that we would not like some of our users to have access to. For example we have a receipt type called A/R that we use to bill certain guests. However, some of our users are using this for guests that are not setup with terms.

  8. Ability to mark Guest Portal Messages as 'Actioned'

    Have a done/ tick box for the guest portal messages .

    When multiple users are responding to messages via the guest portal a tick to show it has been done or is being dealt with would be good - similar to outlook, which we use the done tick when responding to emails, to save an unprofessional double up .
    At the moment the only way we can stop this is to archive the message , which is not a terrific option as it would be good to see the messages dealt with and find them quickly.

  9. Option to Display Nightly Rate in the Shopping Basket on the RMS IBE

    We would like to see the nightly rate in the "Your Stay" basket on the booking engine.

    That is confusing for the guest as the "basket" only shows the total rate and not the nightly rate. We know it shows on the Availabiity Calendar and the Rates dropdowns, but guests may not see those. Needs to display in the "Your Stay" basket also.

  11. Traces/Follow up Function

    Attach a follow up note / task to be completed to a reservation for a specific date or dates. Preferable set up to be similar to the in/out screen where you select the particular date. Also have the capability to allocate it to certain departments.

    I.e Guaranteed early check in for HSK, Call guest when room is ready for FO, Follow up payment for Accounts.

    This is called "traces" in the opera PMS.

  13. Change default order of years displayed in the calendar selector

    Change the order of the years to show the most current year at the top, i.e first year now in the selection is 2000. If I want to go to 2020 I have to scroll all the way down the list to the bottom. 2020 isn't even displaying. Who needs regular access to make changes to previous years instead of the current and future year?

  14. Schedule Email Reports with Dynamic Dates from Report Writer

    I would like to:
    1) Set a Dynamic Date Range in a Report Writer template statement. I.e. Last 7 Days instead of March 21 to March 28, etc.
    2) Schedule a Report Writer report from a chosen Export Template to email the matches from a Statement Template with a dynamic date range.

    The utility of Report Writer for customizable datasets is incredible, but it's stuck behind a substantial set up (which is necessary to achieve the customizability). Using dynamic date ranges would alleviate a lot of the set up time and potential input errors involved in running recurring reports out…

    Can we have payment mode and Company/TA added, rate type and payment mode added to the Departure List?
    That way if it is a Accom to Agent we don't need to go inside the booking to investigate we can see it all on one page and investigate only a few a day investigate.

  17. Make Rate Manager more user friendly

    The current iteration of Rate Manager is extremely clunky, especially the Control panel. Suggest developers look at Site Minder as an example of a clean, modern and most importantly, USER FRIENDLY, interface that is simple to use but has all the features needed. In my opinion, the RMS Rate Manager was designed by people who don't have to use the feature on a daily basis.

  18. I would like to be able to visually represent Stop Sells in the Booking Chart

  19. Move Receipts Between Related Accounts

    HI,
    Currently we have the ability to transfer a credit balance but this is not the only thing we need. It would help if we can transfer a single credit line as there are time when the credit may have been posted to the wrong account.
    At least allow it to happen in the same guest account, ie from General to Extras, and vice versa.

    Have an option for a ‘pop-up’ message to appear on save and close of check-in. For example: “Have you checked guest license” or “Ensure payment is made” any custom message.
