late checkout full automation
Newbook has the facility where it will recognise if the site or cabin is available the next day and send an automated text to the guest to offer a late checkout. The guest can then respond with a particular response, this will then activate for a charge to be raised and then park staff will charge the credit card on file. Would be great to see RMS have a similar option.

Notification when pencil reservation expire
Could the reservation screen please feature a "Pencil Button" next to the Quote & Confirm buttons? The consumer never begins the inquiry with "can you please pencil me in" since they often wait until you have all of their information before you ask for a deposit. Instead, they ask, "Can I get back to you with that or can you just pencil me in drift boss?"

Add new Out of Service Permissions
We would like out of service to be a separate security from the maintenance section so we can give access to out of service and not maintenance as a whole section.

Add Custom Images to Guest Portal
We'd really like the option to remove the category images and replace with a standard background image just for the guest portal. We don't want a carousel of images which is quite distracting for a guest.

Create Arrival Pack Labels report
RMS currently provides label functionality within Report Writer. For us, this is a GDPR risk. Giving Front Desk teams the ability to run Labels for their Arrival Packs on a daily basis within a section of the system that has functionality that could easily be used to send SMS/Form Letters to guest records from any area of the business e.g. owners/other parks/wrong guests is a huge data breach risk.
Our Front Desk teams do not understand Report Writer, nor should they. This should be administrator/marketing access only. Creating a report based on the Labels feature would be more in line…

I would like the SMS History report to include the User who sent the message and the Description header
I would like the SMS History report to be updated to include the User who sent the message and the Description header so that we can report on which department the SMS costs should be attributed to and how efficiently we are using SMS by location.

I'd like more options for group reservations.
A clear separation between multiple bookings (2 or 3 rooms) and actual group 10/20 rooms.
Also reports option. It is important to our yielding that we are aware of the groups we have on the books, once it has different cancelations policy and cutoff periods.
I know RMS offers allotments, but it does not give us much options or reports on it.1 vote -
Nationalities in order of roomnights and revenue
Need a report on nationalities in decreasing order by roomnights and revenue with the option to choose one or the other.
Nationalities are key for a property strategy and the fact that we have to manually create a report starting from the alphabetical order is not efficient, can lead to mistakes and is super time consuming.1 vote -
Allow us to schedule Auto Area Allocation rules to automatically allocate a certain no. of days in advance of arrival, defined by property
Currently the Auto Area Allocation process is a manual task to select bookings and auto allocate. Ideally we'd like a job to do the auto allocation to be able to be scheduled to run against unallocated bookings a certain no of days prior to arrival
Would be great if you could have length of booking and lead time to arrival date to be defined by property and properties opted in or out

Override dwelling size
It's a good idea for new staff to have the new updated warning window for the size of a dwelling not to fit on a site. However, can it be overridden as well, please? It's very frustating when lots of sites have been allocated bigger dwellings, perhaps because we know the people have the ability to park on a site or the particular dwelling will fit after talking to the guest. Housekeeping module - have an arrival block option (in addition to current departure block)
I have set up departure cleaning blocks in Housekeeping tasks for a few properties that have a long clean, and there cannot be a same day arrival.
This only puts an out-of-service block on the departure day, but what about pre-arrival blocks?
For example, if there is a booking from 24-26 September, this departure block would then make it unavailable, and a new booking could then arrive on 27 September.
However, there is the chance that a booking could be made from 22-24 September, which becomes an issue with a departure and arrival on the same day. Therefore, there needs…

Show the reason and change status for Out of Order on Clean Screen
It would be great if we could show the reason why a room is out of order on the Clean Screen. It would also be great if we could change the status/modify any out of order rooms on the clean screen instead of having to go to Utility and then Out of Order.
