RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  3. Option to Delete Tokens on the Receipt Screen

    It would be more convenient and effiecient to be able to delete an old token whilst receipting in the Accomm Account

    Whilst receipting in Accom acc and choosing existing token but token has now been replaced by the customer, it would be very convenient to be able to delete token straight away rather than trying to remember afterwards one finished receipting or having to go out of receipting to delete token. It would be alot more secure and efficient to be able to do it whilst receipting

  4. Improving RMS Flexibility: Beyond Simple Maximum Occupancy

    The existing RMS system has limited flexibility in terms of determining maximum occupancy. For a room type with a maximum capacity of four people, we must accommodate particular combinations such as two adults and two children or three adults. However, we cannot currently restrict combinations such as 3 adults + 1 child or 4 adults (although 4 adults can be managed via rate tables). The inability to prevent bookings of three adults and one child is a major issue that could lead to overbookings through online channels, and according to RMS support, there is no current remedy.   5. Streamlining Multi-Property Management in the RMS Cloud: Seeking Best Practices

    Hello, everyone.

    I'm searching for best practices and tips for effectively managing many properties in RMS Cloud. Currently, keeping everything organized, particularly with reservations and reporting, is difficult.

    Any suggestions for streamlining these processes would be much appreciated. I'm also looking for any guidelines, courses, or advanced RMS Cloud capabilities created specifically for multi-property administration.

  6. Ability to Hide add ons and area class In allotment setup.

    Similar to how in the availability screen you can sort by category class, the ability to filter these in the allotment screen would be helpful as we have a number of room types, add ons and other area classes setup it can be hard work to scroll through to find and add the correct rooms into allotments when creating them

  7. Add charge redirection to audit trail

    Add any add/delete/modification of charge redirection to audit trail of reservation & user audit trail. Currently any add/delete or modification is not shown in audit trail.

  8. a button to post sibling accommodation to the master by individual reservation

    Post sibling accommodation to the master account on an individual basis. The option is there for 'POS on master' but when wanting to post accommodaiton onto the master you can choose all or nothing. The only work around is by using charge redicrection which is onerous when dealing with multiple bookings.

  9. Housekeeping portal to record if minibar is required

    Housekeeping to be able to tick a customisable field, in this case "Minibar" so the information would show up on a report run on the day by a room number basis. This report could then be given to staff member to restock minibar efficiently by only going to the rooms that minibar is required. An advanced version of this idea would a dedicated minibar section where housekeepers could record actual minibar usage.

    Enhanced Features: Many people want to integrate AI to predict resource needs and generate reports automatically, saving time and improving efficiency.

    User-Friendly Interface: Improve the interface design to make it easier to use, especially for beginners.

    Enhanced Customer Support: Suggest providing more documentation and video tutorials for users to quickly solve problems themselves.

    Cross-Platform Features: Develop mobile applications to allow more flexible resource management.

    These ideas will help RMS improve and enhance the user experience.

    I use a booking software called aluuvi in the winter. It has an awesome Clock in- Clock out interface. It would help my campground management immensely. If RMS had this feature.

    Subject: Feature Request – Daily Percentage-wise Guest Status Report by Property

    Dear RMS Cloud Team,

    I would like to request a feature enhancement to generate a daily percentage-wise report for each property (or selected properties) within the RMS system, based on guest status categories.

    Currently, our housekeeping team is manually submitting this report, but we believe that integrating it into the system would significantly improve accuracy, efficiency, and smart monitoring.

  16. I would like to see

    Sync Housekeeping Requirements with Tasks

    When a housekeeping requirement is added to a reservation and appears in the housekeeping roster, it should automatically sync with the Housekeeping Tasks list. I have to manually re-enter it into the app, creating unnecessary double handling. Automating this would save time and reduce manual entry errors.

  17. I would like to add a permission for Superusers to override dates in Guest accounts to extend expiration of their credits

    Sometimes due to extenuating circumstances, we need to extend a credit amount in a guest account. If you could add an override or permission for the Superuser to extend the credit expiration dates.

  18. To be able to add a Comment to an invoice raised in the A/R payment section of RMS

    This would allow us to add comments for our Accounts team so they can seamlessly add direct payments in the correct section of RMS.

    We have a lot of group bookings that pay for their booking via invoice, so for example they pay their deposit which is entered by our accounts team into the A/R. Then the group makes a change, so we have to cancel that invoice and reissue a new one, however as it doesn’t show their amount they’ve already paid it causes confusion.

  20. Allow a colour palette for Travel agent in the drop down box in the bookings chart

    I would like to have the ability to look at my guests reservation in the bookings chart and select "Travel Agent" from the drop down box. Then be able to see a different colour representing each different Travel Agent and to be able to select a colour which I want to use to represent the travel agent that the guest has booked through. At the same time be able to see the guests name in the cell which represents the booking, eg Booked through booking.com is blue and the surmane is over-wriiten on the colour..
