RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  2. Can search by tax code for Travel Agent

    Same as Company, It would be great if we can search Travel Agent by tax code, it will avoid us to create duplicate TA. Tax code is unique.

  3. Requirement Charge Daily should be post when run night audit

    When tick Charge require daily, it will post the amount charge for whole period on the 1st day check in. It should be post one by one, day by day when run night audit. In case guest use some days then cancel , do not use any more, FO have to void.

  4. To be able to process Blind Refunds with CC Token on file

    Currently if you need to process a blind refund you have to have the full card details. 99.99% of the time they exist as a token on file but currently you can't use that token to process the blind refund. Understanding blind refunds shouldn't be the default setting for refunding people, sometimes they are inevitable, and it makes an already insecure process more insecure by having to acquire the CC information again rather than using the secure information already on file.

  6. Saved reports for entire organization

    Once we save a report, have that saved report available for all users. I know there is a scheduled report area, but that allows any user to edit, which is scary. There is so much time spent on deciding which reports will work for your property. It is helpful to have the same reports available for all team membrs.

    Looking for a new colour on the booking chart to show that a customer has fully paid prior to arrival, not just deposit paid and confirmed. Maybe could be done in conjunction with "Pre Check-In"

    To be able to remove the last sibling from a group and delete the group master. Sometimes a booking is placed in the wrong group and we have to cancel the booking and rebook rather than just moving it.

  13. Why No "Occupancy Level Below" in Rate Adjustment restriciton?

    The Rate Adjustment restriction type in Control Panel features a "Where Occupancy is Above x%", but not a Where Occupancy is BELOW x%". This can be useful when you want to REDUCE rates on specific low occupancy dates.

  15. I would like an area where a manager could type up an alert to go to their staff when they log in

    This would be a pop up message for managers to communicate with their staff (or staff with other staff) if they were on days off. It would be a pop up box on login and has to be selected as "read" by the logged in user.

  16. In Group Reservations the Master column should show the guest name in each room

    The Master Column of each group reservation should list the guest's names for each reservation rather than the Category/Area. This would allow us to manouver between reservations quicker when making changes to a group. Having them list show category/area is inefficient.
