RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Mandatory Fields, need to be mandatory on online reservations.

    Each company has mandatory fields that have to be completed when making a reservation. What I do not understand is when guests make an online reservations, Those fields are not mandatory to them. Example: They do not have to fill in kids, vehicles, or pets. It is very frustrating to get called in the middle of the night because they have a 2nd vehicle coming in and only 1 pass was given.

  2. Would like to be able to see if guests have a saved cc token on the In/Out Movement Screen

    Instead of having to click into a booking to check who we need to collect CC information from, could simply view from In/Out Movement Screen all in one place

  4. Can you provide a comprehensive list of documents required for GST registration for different types of businesses?

    The documents required for GST registration vary based on the type of business entity. For individual proprietors, documents include PAN card, Aadhaar card, passport-sized photograph, and proof of business ownership (e.g., rent agreement or property documents).

    Partnership firms require partnership deed, PAN card of partners, and identity/address proofs. Companies need incorporation certificate, memorandum/articles of association, PAN card of directors, and identity/address proofs. Additionally, all businesses must provide proof of the principal place of business (e.g., utility bills or rent agreement), bank account details, and digital signature (for companies/LLPs). Verification documents should be accurate and up-to-date to facilitate smooth registration.

  5. Make it harder for an employee to be able to wipe out a previous guest profile by simply changing the name on the res.

    It's all too easy for a desk clerk to wipe out a previous guest's profile by simply changing the name on a reservation rather than clicking on the "Replace Guest" button. Perhaps bring up a popup message when changing the name on a res that says something like "Are you sure that you want to remove previous guest's profile?"

  6. Email Receipt on Payment by RMS Pay By Link

    Automated payment receipt when customers us a pay-by-link

    When a customer uses a pay-by-link that is sent to them via sms it would be really helpful if a receipt of the payment could be sent automatically.

  7. Multiple Guest & Reservation Notes Fields

    An additional note box that is specific to either a booking or a customer.


    An additional note box to record detailed information about a guest that doesn't need to appear on the in/out movement report.

    At present we use the client note to record the data we need for every booking (where there caravan is stored) and the reservation notes that are specific to that booking.   8. Record Pro Forma Invoice Creation in the Audit Trail

    Include the generation of proforma invoice or invoice in Audit Trail so we can check when were the invoices created


    The audit trail of a reservation shows many changes but does not reflect when a proforma invoice or invoice is generated. This is useful to check when the invoice is presented to the guest.

  10. I would like a text message notification when the MFI processor stops running

    I would like a notification via text message as well as email when the MFI Processor stops running. Lately the MFI processor has been dropping out at night (power outages etc) when emails are not monitored. It would enable us to fix the issue before guests call us that they are not able to get through the boom gates.

  11. Custom Label Added Control Panel Restrictions

    Have the ability to name a restriction in Rate Manager for our own records, or put a note against it


    Just wondering if there is currently (or could be?) the ability to name a restriction for our own records, or put a note against it?

    For example, I've just applied some Clear Stop Sell and new Stop Sell, so that I could release the restriction of 25 Dec 2024 onwards for online bookings, and then place one from 8 Jan 2025 as I start rolling out availability to online.

  12. Different categories of "Out of Order" sites

    It would be nice to have the ability to create different categories of out of order sites. Our property locks sites for a variety of reasons, and having the option to lock sites under different out of orders would be very useful. At the very least having the option to modify colors for individual Out of Order sites on the booking chart.

    Availability Chart on Corporate Portal
    We would like to have an availability chart accessible to for agents so they can easily see where the gaps may be in availability. Right now there is no easy way for them to do this, other than to constantly adjust dates until they find availability. It could look like the Availability Chart we have access too or a simple booking chart.
    We want to make the Corporate Portal as easy to use and informative as possible to help generate more bookings through our Agent partners.

  17. More Date Filters on Reports

    Reports to include date range of "same month last year" and "Financial year".


    I would like to be able to compare reports this month's revenue for example with the same month last year. We can only select last month, this month, next month. I know I can add a custom range, but would be quicker to have this button. Would be helpful for dashboard reports. There's no use comparing February's revenue to January's. I would like to compare this February to last February for a more helpful comparison.

  18. The ability to over ride triggered correspondence when your manually sending it out.

    In my business, every day guests are sent arrival codes via SMS at a time earlier than the scheduled time to trigger the SMS correspondence to them, as there is always someone who calls and asks for an early checkin.
    In these circumstances you dont want the SMS to trigger at the designated time, as it has already been sent to the guest (not a good look to be sending it again and a complete waste of money sending a second time).
    There needs to be either :
    -a tick box when you're setting up the rules of triggered correspondence…

  19. I would like the international dialling code to be able to be set as mandatory.

    Currently, there is no way to set the international dialling code to mandatory. If this is going to be a required field for SMS moving forward, it should be a mandatory field OR the ability to set it as mandatory for those who utilise the SMS modules.

  20. Complimentary Upgrades

    When we are complimentary upgrading our guests the new update on RMS results in 'Would you like to re-create the tariff' is automatically set to YES. This is causing overcharging in our system.
    The option to have this default to NO, as it did prior to the most recent RMS update would greatly help our system.
