RMS User Suggestion Box

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Be able to run a report on future promotions booked

    Currently I can only see what booked promotions are in-house or in the past. I'd like to see how many I have booked in the future. It is imperative to be able to see how a campaign is performing prior to completion. Currently I'm running a new promotion spanning out 6 months. I have no idea if I have booked any until they have departed. Difficult to report on to ownership, marketing team etc

  2. Choose 'days available' when setting a derived rate

    I want to set up a mid week rate that is discounted from a master rate with a % discount and only bookable on certain days of the week. I can't see how this can be done without a lot of manual work to set up multiple rate periods (for each week) which is time consuming and quickly gets messy. I would like to be able to quickly tick a box to say which days of the week a derived rate is bookable.

  4. Reverse Receipts

    We would like to reverse receipts paid against an invoice without having to cancel the invoice first, as the invoice still needs to be paid.
    Having to cancel the invoice, then reverse the receipt, means we then have to recreate the invoice (which will have a new number and will be dated today instead of the original inv date) adding confusion to sales figures / due date of invoice and a new set of inv no/dates for customers. Reverse receipt is a basis accounting action.

  5. Reports in Pivot Friendly Format

    Hi, I am a Revenue Manager and we run reports from RMS all the time, it would be great if we can have the export in "Pivot Friendly" format.

    Currently we can run reports in .csv but the Date fields (formats) are non customizable even when downloaded to excel.

  7. Travel Click and RMS Integration - have mobile drop straight into mobile field on RMS

    When using Travel Click the guests mobile number drops into the ‘PHONE AH’ section and we require it to drop into the MOBILE section. Is it possible to have the mobile details drop directly to the mobile field please?

  8. Grid Optimization

    It would be great if RMS had a feature to automatically move existing reservations between sites to open up more availability for other potential guests. This is one of the big features of Campspot (Grid Optimization) and now ResNexus (Unit Optimization) has implemented it as well. Currently we have to manually play a game of Tetris to make space for reservations on busy weekends.

  11. Provide email notification for expiring Scheduled Reports when your group has multiple standalone properties.

    Provide email notification, ontop of the message centre, for expiring Scheduled Reports. We have 9 standalone properties with head office originating these reports but we do not receive notification. We physically have to log into each property to see the notification.

  12. Allow limits to be set on how many bookings can be taken for a particular rate plan

    If we set up a package to sell rooms + tickets to an onsite event, we really need the option to limit the total number of bookings we take on this rate plan, as we may only have 10 tickets available to the event (for example).

    Currently we can set an allotment to limit the number of bookings per day, but no way to set a total limit at a rate plan level.

  15. Requirement Charge Daily should be post when run night audit

    When tick Charge require daily, it will post the amount charge for whole period on the 1st day check in. It should be post one by one, day by day when run night audit. In case guest use some days then cancel , do not use any more, FO have to void.

    Option to Cancel Bulk Bookings.

    eg. When an event gets cancelled due to rain, I have to cancel 60+ reservations. Currently have to enter each individual booking to cancel.

  18. Corporate Portal - List individual reservations under the Group Master booking

    In the corporate Portal, if there is a Group Master Reservation, it should be listed on the main page and then the individual reservations should be listed under a dropdown from the group master. At the moment it is very confusing as a group of 5 areas is listed 6 times (group and each individual area)

  19. Change online calendar wording when a day is restricted for booking

    I've made Saturday a non-book in day, so that I don't have people booking a Thursday/Friday and leaving Saturday, which is a higher rate, not booked. However, this means that it says"Depart Only" on the Guest Booking Calendar. Is there any way of changing that term to something like "no arrival or depart" instead. It's a bit confusing the way it reads at the moment for guests.

    The front facing to guests part of RMS needs some work. The backend is brilliant.
